Rude staff member who served us today, incredibly unhelpful, and the wrong attitude to be working in customer service. Was waiting for 30 minutes for a staff member to serve people waiting to collect orders, and would have been waiting longer if I hadn't called her back, to be told I needed to contact George as it's not her problem. More training in customer service needed.
Grey haired ponytail lady behind bakery one of the rudest workers I've encountered in any supermarket.nRest of the people on bakery are lovely the guy with glasses is truly a legend, but if you have any questions, make sure to avoid the rude scary ponytail lady !!nSincerely, long time regular.
I normally use the self scanning service but I dont think it was available this particular day. I took my basket to the manned till as it was available for once. Older woman grey hair sitting there, she did not greet me. I had chosen a notepad from the stationary section and apparently it didnt have a barcode on it... the woman held it up looking at me like I'd done something wrong, I asked what the problem was and she said 'this doesn't have a barcode?' I said 'ok?' She shrugged her shoulders at me and I shrugged mine back unsure what to say seeing as it was not my job to put the barcode on shelf items...she sat staring at me, I said ' cant you call for someone?' She looked at me like I had slapped her and started scanning the rest of my items, leaving the notepad on the side. After she finished I asked her if she had called someone and she said 'I doubt anyone is available, they're probably all busy doing other things' I said 'what, like putting barcodes on items?' Eventually I was able to take the notepad back to the shelf and pick up another one and pay for it at the customer service. Terrible woman and employee. All staff there seem to be a penny short of a pound and I cant count the amount of times the self service has not worked and I've stood waiting for help for longer than a couple of minutes. Not a nice place.
The reduced prices just went crazy. You pay more for reduced price beef now then for a fresh one. Tried to tell them they not interested. They often just slap whatever sticker on and dont care. Or sometime dont even put any sticker. 2kg fresh beef joint £18. Same at reduced price £24
I have already written a review for asda but I feel the need to share again as the self service doesn't work they need to get rid of it and use the till . But they always ask you to use the self service now I don't work for asda so why should I have to do this I know it's the way the world is going but it doesn't work there is no order to it looks like to me its a free for all when you ask for help the staff look at you as if your stupid which it's not the customer service you should get it's a nightmare this needs looking at by the management team to see what can be done .
