Went to asda cafe today, man was friendly and lovely, however paid £12 for a cold small portioned meal, £6 each with a hot drink ! Seemed like a good deal at the time but I could have gone else where for this price and got the same but better. Food was cold, and toast was cremated, however hot chocolate was lovely, don’t usually like to complain about places but just wasn’t too happy with this, also cutlery was dirty, lovely man tho and great customer service just food not so great
Thank you to Claire from the bakery at Asda, Bury St Edmunds. I was struggling to connect my phone to the photo cake designing machine, Claire stopped making the doughnuts & not only connected my phone, but she also did everything from uploading my photo to writing out the text. She also smelt of cakes so I had to buy some doughnuts, rather than nibbling her arm! Thanks again Claire.
Needed some breakfast as my car was getting work done nearby. Well gee not any info about breakfast in thr upstairs cafe. What a joke tables and pay 4 a hot drink then sort your drink yourself. No info about food ,and me being a diabetic thought I could get a hot breakfast ,not a thing in sight . NOT IMPRESSED!! NOT WHAT AMERICAN OWNERS BELEIVE IN ,IF YOU KNOW WHAT THE USA LIVE FOR IN FOOD STAKES . GET IT SORTED ,THUS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE REALLY its 2023 not 1973

Went into this store to purchase an air fryer. There was only one on the shelf and I wanted to look at how big it was. Instead of going customer service I decided to go to member of staff who was stacking the shelf’s. I ask her as Im intrested in buying an air fryer but want to see how big it was. Do I have to go to customer service? She walked over to the air was given me a speech how their not suppose to be opened This is why I ask for you to open it as other stores have no issues in doing this. She complained and moaned the whole time stating it’s one litre which ain’t going to be that big. I told her I cannot visualise how deep the air fryer is she opened it still moaning, I looked at the air fryer and realised it wasn’t that big. This kind of attitude from staff is appalling it seems nowadays staff wants to get paid for doing the bare minimum. This middle age woman really needs to humble herself and remember that it’s due to the customers why she’s in her job in the first place. No customers = no staff..she can always sign on at the jobcentre and allow someone else to take her place.
We have used asda for a few years but over the last few months it's gone down hill. Simple items like cheese not available, Johnsons baby powder not available, fridges empty, fruit and veg, soft or rotten, damaged, only lasts a few days in our fridge. Cakes, poor quality and expensive. BUT, beer, wine and spirits shelves FULL. Pallets of food waiting to go onto already FULL shelves, WHY? One thing we have noticed is some food items are OUT OF SELL BUY DATE, we told staff and items where removed from shelf. NOT GOOD. Trollies not collected and returned to the storage areas. Broken bottles in corner of car park. WAKE UP MANAGERS. Sainsbury or Tescos? Next week I think.
Bury St Edmunds store is awful and has been for sometime now. Shelves empty, boxes left on the floor. The place looks a tip, and dirty. I spoke to a lady at the checkout who said they have no staff. Well, people won’t use the store if this carries on. Such a shame.
Place has gone downhill big time. Had to wait 1hr for click and collect no explanation. Was told 5 minutes, shopping arrived 45 minutes later Order number. 2322322001022
The level of pettiness in asda bury st Edmunds is staggering locking the trolley wheel's to check just one trolley from all customers also not applying the NHS card discount , not recommend and about the person doing that asda have cameras and they can see the person a small blonde and another couple staff one with a device with a button who blocked our trolley and I will find somewhere else for shopping
Horrible place can’t see why anyone goes their rude staff! Stock not on shelf constantly out of stock of things You try to complain and get told there’s no manager in when there clearly is ! Only go there because I get my services discount wish other supermarkets offered it to stop me having to go in there !
