Story

Far away foods is a new shop which has opened in bury st edmunds.
It is run by Justin Stearn and Irene Armijos, a wife and husband team.
Our aim is to provide ethnic and "free from food"
We also supply fruit and vegetable not usually found in supermarkets.
We will be using this page to promote the shop and products and to add recipes.

We have many years of enjoying oriental food when we were working in the Asia Pacific region and it was reassuring to find a food store which stocked many of our favourite things. With a proprietor who had good knowledge and could give us advice on items we didn't know much about. We will be back..........

Packed full of a wide range of items not usually found I supermarkets. Unfortunately they didn't have what I was looking for. However customer service was excellent. I'd say the focus here is Thai foods.

Wanted to buy a number of things including some plantains but the women said "no no not good don't buy", if it wasn't good to buy why have it on display for sale? It suggests you do not go through your stock and that you're not a very good sales person for your business if you can't champion your products.
