Gotta love co-op Never seen any problems with security guards myself. Although, a later addition to this review, I must admit that the food here is more expensive than a competitor such as Tesco’s in the ark, but then it’s a choice between a long walk and more expensive food. Again, I can’t fault any experience I have had here and the no produce is horrendously overpriced. They always have a few trolleys full of very discounted products they are selling off at the tills.
I found this shop abit on the expensive side for most items there is a car park around the back of the shop staff we're friendly I would say it does get very busy when the school finishes but I use say its in a great location
The Co-Operative, "good with food" but not with people apparently. The other week I happened to be in this exact co operative buying my fabric softener when I witnessed an unbelievable scene at the kiosk. A young lad I believe going by the name of Jack was purchasing a sandwich when the lady behind the till gave him an awful attitude. She was snotty, sarcastic and rude. Couldn't believe how rude she was.
I tell you what , walking into co-op for my daily lunchtime trip when I approach the till with a pack of hot and spicy Doritos. Not sure what the lady at the till was called but think it might be Tracy. The Doritos bag had been opened at the bottom of which I didn't realise to which Tracy refused to swap it out and said that I was trying to "pull a cheeky" she grabbed the closest pack of Swan filters on the right of her and launched them towards me at monumental force. I was not happy .
Apparently Tracy wasn't there because there was nothing wrong with this place. Perhaps she or the customers are the problem but it's a great selection of veggies, fruits, biscuits, drinks and more for being a small place. I will definitely return.
Food is expensive. Deals are not great. Mark me downs are not good as they seem to only be 10p or 20p off something that's close to bb date. I have come across very rude arrogant staff. From service assistant to manager. Not a desired place to shop so only when I have no other choice. Or can't walk far
Bought a sandwich from this shop and the woman who worked there Tracy I think had a terrible attitude. Gave her my sandwich and asked how much it was, she replied "it's £2.50, do you want it or not?" Her attitude is appalling. I will not be visiting again. Thanks Tracy :
Appalling scene. I was visiting the Co Op earlier today, foraging around in the bargain bin, hoping to catch a corker of a deal when I stumbled across an altercation at the till. A young lad attempting to buy what looked like a southern fried chicken baguette. Although it wasn't that simple. The lady behind the till had the worst attitude I have ever seen from a member of staff. Going by the name of Tracy I believe.
Friendly helpful staff good reduced bargains all u need in one store and more
Good quality but at a premium price. I will continue to use this store purely for convenience.
