Lovely cafe, well decorated and friendly atmosphere. We went early on a Sunday morning and ate pancakes (a stack of 3) with bacon and maple syrup. They were nice and fluffy. The bacon was crisped just right too, bacon that's too thick and not crispy is not right with pancakes (imo). Also, had a hot chocolate which was really tasty and everything came to less than £20 (which included some tea and toasted fruit bread for my daughter), so fairly reasonable I think. Note that I don't think they have high chairs which makes it slightly awkward for babies and young children.

What a lovely cafe! Quiet and relaxed atmosphere and good food. Happy to put together something I fancied that wasn't on the menu. Lovely coffee too! Skip Nero and Costa, this is where you want to go. Local independent. Very friendly! Will come again 😊

Lost for words!!! Found it on a whim but it was the best decision we've ever made!!! The best Eggs Royale I've had in my 33years of existence!!! Amazing service with beautiful morderb, comfy surroundings. Sat here already looking at our next trip back to to @Eastborune!!

Introduction: im italian. Review: this way to think a cafe, this way to be costumer is new to me. Most of us italians took the cafe at the counter standing. This cafe is so welcoming (staff + ambient), the menu has many nice things (and for sure delicious). I was so lucky to be there in the Easter period to be able to eat the Hot Cross Bun with Maxfield's sign. Also, as italian i required (sorry for this) an italian coffee and IT WORKED !!! So in conclusion. GO and SPEND nice time !! (at any hour of the day). Follow them too on social media to be a part of their family or to know news about it and his menu :) 5star.
