Reasonable priced coffee. There's usually a discarded daily newspaper on a rack to read, which I thinks a nice touch. It's situated in the centre of Eastbourne, so it's ideally placed to meet up.

Posdibly the narrowest Costas that I have visited. Goes back a long way so really roomy and interesting if you are a costa fan like me. Keep 'em comin' mr costa.

Not exactly inspiring, a long string of an interior, and if you sit in the depths you will be spectating the comings and goings of those who need the toilets, which appear to be numerous people, apparently. Some of the front seating areas can be hemmed in by people standing for take-outs. The teas and coffees are fine, albeit indistinguishable from a lot of other me-too hyper-brands. So-so, IMO.

I love Costa. Staff are always friendly and the food is good. Place is always clean and toilets are well maintained.
