This small friendly cafe do wonderful sandwiches, soups, smoothies and cake. Healthy homemade food and great coffee. Would recommend it.

Coffee and carrot is a hidden gem of Eastbourne, such lovely little cafe. I've been there twice, once as a vegetarian where I had a beautiful spinach and feta pastry and a frothy cappuccino and after converting to veganism, where I tried a wonderful blueberry and lemon cake with a soya cappuccino. The menu is friendly foe everyone and the prices are quite low, which is always great when you're a student. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and eager to help with any questions. The cafe itself has a homely feel to it, very good place to study at as the music isn't loud. I would recommend Coffee and carrot to anyone❤ P.s. ask for chocolate on top of your drink, it has gold sparkles!

Very friendly staff and customers can't recommend this place enough. They are dog friendly too, an added bonus when you have a Dachshund that needs to rest his paws!!
