Been going to this place for years because affording a property is far too expensive now so it’s cheaper to loiter there and it’s simply outstanding every time. Big ting Joe has it running like clockwork. Some amazing new staff members, one of which enticed me into getting a Brazilian, couldn’t say no! Could definitely use an awning as I’m not a fan of sitting outside in the rain, but other than that, it’s immense!
Very disappointing coffee experience last week. Ordered a flat white and Caramel Machiatto. The flat white was good enough and while the Machiatto was also OK, the paltry size of it was really disappointing. It was only when I sat down at the table and put some sugar in did I realise it was full of froth. Also didn’t realise it was going to be in a smaller mug than a flat white. As there was a queue at the counter, I didn’t bother to get it rectified. So just a word of warning to make sure you are happy with it before leaving the counter.
I have always been a regular at this coffee shop but have recently gone elsewhere, due to the lack of customer service and the staff acting/looking as if they'd rather be anywhere else. However, this morning I came here with a friend and the two guys one was called Joe, I think who served us, were just brilliant! They were friendly, chatty and didn't make us feel like we were being an annoyance. A real asset to your team and maybe they could give some of their colleagues a masterclass in customer service. Oh, and our drinks were fab too, so thank you!
Don't go there for any reason! Incapable of any hospitality service, not committed to quality of service and to customers satisfaction. They deserve to get broke for the way the service is intended and delivered. See the photo attached: I ordered a caramel iced latte and a cake and what we got? Half of a cake slice, two latte and no apologies or excuses or replacement of what was asked for from the shop. It's the second time we use this shop, no way will happen again!

Recent convert from another coffee shop chain. Nice tea and coffee and cheaper using our Gourmet Club discount. Staff very helpful but interior of this Cafe Nero could do with an upgrade. One of the toilets is still out of order and the corridor/toilet area is very scruffy.Service: 5/5
