Story

Urban Ground is the latest addition to Eastbourne’s Coffee scene. We are committed to serving excellent coffee, fabulous cakes and pastries, light lunch with an emphasis on local sourcing, ethical produce, superb taste and outstanding customer service.
The atmosphere is relaxed where busy workers, shoppers, tourists and families with children will all be welcomed with a smile to enjoy our renowned hospitality.
Our chosen coffee comes from Union Hand-Roasted who are experts at blending and roasting coffee beans which are sourced direct from farmers around the world, cutting out middlemen and brokers which enables the farmer to receive the best price for their coffee.
Our whole leaf teas come from Tea Pigs who have a superb range of teas and infusions which we are really excited about, which will be served in a funky teapot. Our chai latte is from our own secret recipe and unique. Luxurious hot chocolate is made with steamed velvet milk.
The food at Urban Ground is carefully sourced so that it looks and tastes fantastic. Most of our delicious cakes are handmade in Eastbourne using the finest ingredients and our range is supplemented by excellent pastries from a local supplier.
Lunchtime offerings include fresh soup, filled continental breads heated on a griddle if required. We also have lunch platters consisting of charcuterie, smoked fish, chutney, pickle, antipasti, dips and warm bread. This will be a great addition to an eclectic menu that will have something for everyone throughout the day.
