Went in and was greeted at the front door. Asked where I could find a specific item to save me wandering around the shop. Lots of choice in a range of sizes. Went to the fitting room, although a bit of a queue they were a good size. No wait for the self service tills. Very good quality clothes and comfy. Overall would definitely visit again!
Came in for a refund that required the management to search receipt on their system. After a lot of eye rolling and trying to convince me it’s not worth my time after leaving them with my details I was advised they will contact me once they found it…that was Thursday and it’s now Sunday…they really wasn’t joking when they said it takes them a while LOL. That combined with the cashiers attitude biting her lips in front of me when I told her I know someone is able to get that transaction up for me was a cherry on top. I have logged this as a complaint, too much attitude in those places now and not enough people willing to do their job amazes me - Do better Matalan is employment team
Visited recently, had avoided it for the last few years as it used to be a bit like a rummage sale! Far better on most recent trip, although in places it still felt a bit disorganised. Pretty good for getting bits for kids school stuff.
They've got loads to look at. Really impressed with parking here, the disabled and parents with children bays are one and the same which is an excellent idea. Top marks!
I tell ya what, matalan has massively redeemed itself. I used to refuse to even go into the shop but I hadn't done any of my holiday shopping and only had 2 days so couldn't order anything from other online shops. Katie told me to head to matalan, I was reluctant but went in my 306 and I was pleasantly surprised. Found shorts, trousers and shirts right away, all Nice and plain without garish logos or words splashed over them.n2 black shortsn1 black trousersn3 long sleeve shirts all for £95, bargain! And I've not moaned to katie once about being uncomfortablennPhoto of me on holiday in a pair of the shortsnFree room service so got chips
