Visited recently, had avoided it for the last few years as it used to be a bit like a rummage sale! Far better on most recent trip, although in places it still felt a bit disorganised. Pretty good for getting bits for kids school stuff.
The store itself was fantastic.nWomen on the checkout could be bothered to serve us. She really let the store down.nIf you don't want to serve paying cash customers, don't be surprised when you lose your job cause everyone shops online.nnI don't use self-serve or card just to keep people in jobs.

Nice. I need public transport and its a way to walk. But has a lot of lovely fashion. Also home wear is good quality. Will go again.
I tell ya what, matalan has massively redeemed itself. I used to refuse to even go into the shop but I hadn't done any of my holiday shopping and only had 2 days so couldn't order anything from other online shops. Katie told me to head to matalan, I was reluctant but went in my 306 and I was pleasantly surprised. Found shorts, trousers and shirts right away, all Nice and plain without garish logos or words splashed over them.n2 black shortsn1 black trousersn3 long sleeve shirts all for £95, bargain! And I've not moaned to katie once about being uncomfortablennPhoto of me on holiday in a pair of the shortsnFree room service so got chips
