Good location with car parking available for customers. Wheelchair people are welcome, lift available too. Friendly and helpful staff. The prices are good, many reduced prices during this period. Very recommended for family shoppings
Nice shop and easy to find. The car park is small but you can park at B&M Home Store right next to Matalan. 2 hours parking permited. The shop is clean and tidy with 2 storey. Good quality clothes and affordable prices. You can also buy home accessory items. Coming with the bus use bus stops Colindeep Lane Stop CF or stop GZ. Opposite of the store you have a McDonald's in case you get hungry or want to the toilet.
They need more staff on the shop floor it is a mess. Clothing everywhere and everything is misplaced. Half the clothing doesn’t even have the right hangers. Fitting room is disgusting. Clothes everywhere and it is very dirty.
Nice, clean and well laid out store. Self service tills. I brought 3 items - 2 of which came up at a higher price than advertised so they really do need to ensure their barcodes are correct to avoid having to waste time at the checkout. Friendly and helpful staff.
Reasonably priced items. Neat and well organised except of the 'sale' section. Less staff visible to ask for help and fitting rooms seem to be always closed.
Great products BUT absolutely horrible check out experience of self service only. Absolutely appalling!!!! Rubbish layout for this and very little assistance offered. Expecially terrible for a parent with children and a trolley full of shopping. Not impressed AT ALL.
It's matalan so don't expect much. Clothes are OK but service and clientele aren't great. No complaints though. You don't go to McDonald's and expect fine dining
The whole shop is in a complete mess, clothes and rubbish in all changing cubes. The floor is full with rubbish around the tills. I am not sure what is the reason behind but extremly disappointing.

Really bad customer service. They have toilets but it's never open. No place for nappy change, If you ask the staff they are rude. Even the manager herself doesn't know how to be polite... I don't think I will ever return back even it's my local store. Note this didn't just happen to me, there was an other lady experienced same thing just before me. I experienced same thing multiple times.
