Go Outdoors

Post lockdown, post liquidation and post repurchase, all was excellent in-store. This was my first ever visit to Go Outdoors for a quick look around for any bargains. With so much to choose from and tents pegged out to try; we ended up with an enormous tent. And that prepacked shopping trolley stunt to take your bargain buy to tills was very clever. Staff really friendly. All in all, a very pleasant first visit, although a little financially lighter.

Friendly and helpful staff in store. Good prices on most products. Product lines and product availability are a mixed bag. Web store turned out to be useless for me. They didn't even start processing my order in two weeks, so I had to cancel it. Customer care support for the web order wasn't very responsive or helpful.

I visited this store on a Thursday lunchtime.. there were plenty of staff on hand. I went to buy a pair of walking shoes. Apart from getting my chosen choice of shoe I got no support at all in my purchase. I chose to shop at go outdoors due to reading reviews saying how good they were. I spent over £100 on the pair. I'm disappointed.

Craig was interactive and helped us in everything we asked Jasmine at the checkout, super smile and again very helpful. When we returned for something we forgot Craig saw us and gave us a super discount. Well done to both of you. It was so nice to be treated with excellent service

I returned a product back that was bought from the store and they refunded me half of what was on the go outdoors colindale receipt. I now have to get my credit card company to reverse the initial payment I made. I also notice when you buy the products on special offer, the cashier will still charge you full price and I will not recommend shopping there unless you want to lose more money with this company Avoid this company if you can

I came to Go Outdoors last week feeling stressed and under time pressure. Dom showed incredible kindness, patience and creativity in helping me out with my tent problem - he saved my weekend. He was calm, knowledgeable and really really good at his job. He deserves a bonus or something. Thanks so much again Dom and sorry this review is a bit late!

Not very good. Bought a pair of trousers but needed to change for the next size up. They refused to order another pair in. Said I could order online but doesn't seem to be possible without paying £3.95 for delivery, click and collect not available. As I'd tried this approximatel FIVE TIMES previously and each time was told the next day that the item was out of stock and I'd been given a refund, MINUS THE DELIVERY CHARGE refunded after a phone call I can only assume that this is a regular scam that a lot of people fall victim to. I returned the trousers and bought another pair from the manufacturer direct.

If I could give no stars, I would! Long story: Ordered boots in the sale beginning of March - there was apparently a technical issue meaning I had to cancel my order and repurchase. I was promised the price I paid would be honoured and I would also receive 10% discount. The new order has still not been dispatched and I have not been refunded. Customer service invent a number of rules around refunding, dispatching and technical issues to get you off the phone. One moment I can't be refunded over the phone, the next they say they can over email ... but not the correct amount. Going round and round in circles. Now approaching the end of May. Such a waste of time and disgusting service - please order elsewhere.

I had an issue after placing two online orders; orders went through but items out of stock. So I checked online and it looks like what I need it was available in one of your stores.Therefore I phoned yesterday at Colindale store to double check stock about tents and I asked them if I could assemble the tent in store to check sizes etc. and the staff on the phone told me yes and that both tent I was looking for,were anyway on display .I travelled from south London zone 3 to North west zone 4 .At the store only one model was on display but not the other one.I went to the till area and I asked about the phoxx 1 person tent that wasn't displayed and where I could assemble the tent to check the size etc.The shop assistant told me it is not possible to pitch the tent in store,and I told him I phoned yesterday and I asked if I can open the tent ,in order to avoid wasting travelling from far away .The person I am speaking to ,identify himself as store manager and asked me where it is my mask and again told me that I cannot open the tent there and that I was given wrong information on the phone.I told him I need to open the tent in order to check if is ok for my size etc..I showed him my exemption badge and he rolled his eyes and told to the young shop assistant to gave me the tent.Honestly I found it quite rude that he did not want to serve me, to help me and in general I had a very negative experience.I took the tent and open it without pitch it because it is anyway a tunnel tent and not free standing model. I was doubting which model it was better ,so I need it professional advice.In all the area of tents and backpacks there were zero staff! I went again at the tills and I asked someone if he has knowledge about tents and he said a little.I appreciate his honesty. The overall experience was very poor and bad customer service, the store have some bargain prices but it is a good shop for people with their own knowledge about equipment.If you want to be assisted with a purchase,this is not Ellis Brigham or Cotswold

This branch has an amazing staff. Firstly, I ordered online but I received the wrong items. My wife called up a branch which was Colindale branch. She spoke through the phone with the staff named Phoebe. My wife said she was so accommodating, and assuring all will be sorted the soonest. The next day I phoned the branch myself and complained about my issue. But so sorry I did not get the name on the other which was a lady. She help me what to do about my complaint, and told me to return the wrong items to their branch instead. She was eager to help me solve my issue. So, the following day we went to the branch and return the wring items. The branch manager named Andrei, entertained us, he did not leave us until the problem was sorted. Even at the last minute of our shopping. They are amazingly professional on dealing these kind of issue even though it wasn’t there fault. To Gooutdoors Colindale branch, keep up the good work guys. Keep safe
