**Review of Asda Collindale**nnI visited Asda Collindale a little after 9:00 PM, hoping to return a safety gate. Upon arriving, I went straight to the returns desk, but it was closed. I was surprised as there was no sign or information indicating that the desk would be shutting early. Since I was already there, I wandered through the store to see if I could exchange the item, but I couldn't find an alternative.nnI returned to the returns desk, hoping someone could assist me. I was told that the desk had closed at 9:00 PM, which was frustrating since there was no prior notice about the early closure. I then asked why there was no communication on the desk or on the website, as I would’ve reconsidered coming to the store if I’d known in advance. I was directed to speak with some other staff members nearby, so I approached them.nnThere were five members of staff in total, and one of them explained that due to a lack of customer returns after 9:00 PM, a decision had been made to close the desk earlier. While I understand the logic behind this decision, I still felt it was important to have clear communication about it. The staff member then claimed there was a sign on the desk. When we walked over to check, however, there was nothing visible. She then pulled a small, hidden sign from under the desk, placed it on the counter, and walked off. It didn’t feel like the most professional solution.nnI also asked to speak to a manager or team leader but was told they had all left by 8:00 PM. While I understand that might be the case, I found it odd that there was no higher authority available to handle the situation. It’s great that staff are empowered to assist customers, but it felt like a lack of proper training or communication at the returns desk.nnOverall, my experience could have been better if there had been clearer communication about the desk's hours or if someone more knowledgeable had been available to assist me. Hopefully, Asda will address these issues going forward for smoother customer experiences.
Self checkout staff are away with fairies most of the time. Nobody is switched on its awful trying to get their attention if needed. Night shift staff are so much better
Dear Asda Management,nnI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the state of the toilets in your store. Every time I visit, I find the toilets to be extremely smelly and consistently dirty. I truly do not understand how a large supermarket like Asda cannot keep the facilities cleaner. It’s quite disappointing and unacceptable.nnI kindly urge you to supervise and improve the hygiene standards in this area. If I find the toilets in this terrible condition again during my next visit, I will be forced to take pictures and videos as evidence, and I will report this matter to the relevant council authorities.nnThis level of cleanliness is essential for customer comfort and health, and I hope you will address this issue promptly.nnThank you for your attention to this matter.
many families in line with children with carts full of food and the staff keeps chatting, moving around the hall in vain and not opening the doors to make the payment, it happens to me every time I come here I see a big line and the staff that doesn't care, for me this is the last time I come here
