There's not much I can fault this supermarket for, it's well stocked, it has a wide range of produce, clean and quite well organized, with a pharmacy, a butcher's stand, a deli one with pizza and hot food, and a sushi counter. The staff are mostly helpful and friendly, I don't remember any negative interactions. The disabled toilet is under key and a pain to get access to, and I can't see any pork meat at the Butcher's, SOMEONE decided that we all have to eat HALAL meat! I find it discriminatory and upsetting!!! For these 2 reasons I'm deducting a star, otherwise this supermarket is nearly perfect.
I just want to say there is one Asian man fairly tall bigger build that’s normally on the self check quite often.nnHe is an absolute pleasure not once but several times he had just made me so happy and maybe not even interacted with me.nnYou can tell he loves his job, he wants to help genuinely and he is just a kind person. Please look after this man he deserves to be looked after. Don’t get me wrong the other ladies are good to but his aura is just so bright it really just makes your day / Fyi I visited 2 days ago and he still made me smile today.nThank you
I bought a kettle from this ASDA store and it started leaking the same day. I returned it immediately, but the staff refused to accept it, claiming it was “used.” Of course it was used, that’s how we discovered it was faulty and leaking.nnThe situation then became very uncomfortable. One staff member was extremely rude, did not listen to anything I was saying, and started swearing in her own language in front of other staff and customers, which was embarrassing and unprofessional. I politely asked if I could speak to someone else, but instead more staff joined in, raised their voices, and started shouting at me. I felt ganged up on and disrespected.nnI have never experienced customer service like this before. I will also be reporting this incident to head office. I took a photo of the staff member involved due to her aggressive behaviour in front of her colleagues.nnVery disappointing experience. I would advise others to be cautious when dealing with returns at this store.
I would like to sincerely thank Joyce for going above and beyond to help us during our visit in store .My 6 month old baby was hungry and crying and I needed to breastfeed but unfortunately there was no suitable space available in store. She approached us and asked if we needed help and immediately tried her best to find a quiet and comfortable place . When the pharmacy and optician didn't had space as they were busy ,she contacted George colleague and arranged for a changing room to be opened for us.nBoth Joyce and team made us feel truly supported and comfortable during a stressful moment. She is definitely a valuable asset to the store - She shows genuine care, understanding and a willingness to help when it really mattersnThank you for such a caring and outstanding service .
