This store seemed a bit more organized and they cater to everyone. The prices are a bit high at certain locations, but still within that comparable price range. The quality of the goods is good. Matalan gives crazy reductions on selected items, especially in their online store. The store is worth the look. You would not be disappointed. Additionally, their staff are very helpful and pleasant.
The clothes are a decent price and the styles are nice. Staff are very nice and greet you making you feel welcome.
Have shopped in Matalan for many years but as its now only self service unless you you pay by cash my visits will be greatly reduced. The customers always had to queue due to how busy the store was but now you get shoved up a back corner as if you are an incovieniece with no space to move. When will stores learn customers want to be served not ignored.
This review is for the relocated Matalan store to the unit previously occupied by Next. I haven't been to a Matalan for years, things have changed a lot. A really nice modern bright store with a huge range of clothing and homewares and now on 2 levels. Prices of stuff is still really competitive. Located in a huge retail park that has lots of free parking and disabled parking available close to the entrance.
This review is for the relocated Matalan. I haven't been to a Matalan for a while, I must admit I preferred the old store in terms of accessibility, it was a bit like a maze to get around and the tills are not very easy to access using a wheelchair. I really felt like there was a reduced amount of clothing I used to love Matalan too, I don't think I will be returning in a hurry.
Love this shop.. Staff always helpful. If they do not have it in stock, there is the click and collect service with the staff have also helped with. A good range of clothes and home items to choose from. Great value and style. The clothes always wash well and if you look after them, last for a long time. Not the best quality, but definitely good and great value for the money. Always worth a look when ever you are after something either classical or a bit more stylish. Mr M xXx
A Really Good Store! I shop here regularly, mostly with my mother as we live very close by. It is a good store with a great selection of very reasonable prices clothes. Sometimes there are some real bargains, especially when the sales start. I would definitely recommend shopping here. Parking is free and although it does get very busy in the retail park where it is situated, we always get parked.
Easy parking with the demise of 'Toys were Us' and a reasonably well stocked outlet. The staff here today were very gracious and helpful while I messed around trying to balance discount vouchers against spend! There does seem to be a bit of a shortage of outfits for boys in the age 9 bracket but we managed to get most of what we wanted.
Love a lot of the products at Matalan and the prices are great too. Would have public toilets fitted though somewhere in the retail park if it were me. I would spend a lot more money if i didn't HAVE to leave to attend the call of nature. One other thing, again more location rather than Matalan itself but there is only one way in and one way out of the retail park, so the traffic system just can't cope with this and you can queue for ages just to get in and out, this is why the 3 stars. Matalan is great once you get there.
Best shop for clothes and accessories. Great thinsg and a lovely shoping experience. Good quality and cheap. Clean with sanitiser both way in and out, staff wear masks and helpful.
