The Range, Bedford

Damaged product and ignored email. Ordered the First edition paper book online, as most of them at the store were damaged with no more stock. The bottom part of the book cover was ripped and the spine was fraying (this was in store). I asked if there were more stock which unfortunately was not (I think the books were beautiful and good quality) unfortunately they were not in poor condition. So I ordered it online on a deal and bought 2 books, it came pretty soon. Although, one book was excellent condition in a sealed plastic bag, the other was not. The corners we folded, the back cover page has a slight tear on the edge and the whole book just seemed dirty and mistreated. I was so disappointed as obviously if I wanted a damaged/poor condition item, I would have to bought the one in store with a discount but I am not one to settle for anything. I emailed customer service on 2nd December 2017 with photos, and to this date, I have NOT heard anything back. I won't be purchasing anything them in the future anymore.

Great selection of art supplies. Some of the tins are kept behind the counter, which I find annoying as there is pressure to make a purchase at the point of sale rather than being able to take the time to make a decision. But still a great place to shop.

Amazing range of different houseware at amazing prices, perfect for first homes ! Was so impressed with everything there and all amazing quality for such low prices! Unfortunately the man who served us gave poor customer service, seemed not bothered about his work and didnt smile or be friendly at all, which was such a shame as its a lovely store!
