Unexpectedly found myself in need of some physical and emotional support having raised a concern with the team at M&S Handforth Dean today. My concern was listened to and taken on board with a sincerity towards resolving the issue but more importantly the professional and experience demonstrated by team manager Karen confidently supported by the brilliant and kind Rosie was exceptional. Store manager Laura is to be congratulated on an outstanding and committed team. My sincere thanks to all concerned.
Visited the Handforth Dean store today with my mum who is in her 80's stylish fashion conscious with plenty of money to spend! But she does have mobility issues and often needs a sit fown as many many people do!!nnShe was wanting new bras ,so we chose a sellection and went to the changing rooms.nUpon asking if we could have a changing room with a chair?....we were told there is only ONE chair in ALL the changing rooms!!nONE CHAIR IN THE WHOLE OF HANDFORTH DEAN CHANGING ROOMS!??nWe were advised there is a wooden bench in the changing rooms, but that isn't suitable for my mum.nnThe ONE CHAIR was in use with another lady and elderly mother also trying underwear, so we waited. A little embarrassed...We were made to feel like an inconvenience.nThe ONE CHAIR was most helpful, as it could be for others with disabilities ,pregnant ladies, people with children? etcnCustomers who just need to sit for a moment or two, in the very sterile bordering on hostile environment of an M&S changing room!....nnHandforth Dean has recently undergone massive renovation but absolutely no thought about the customer experience when trying on....?nCome on M&S this is basics Customer comfort , care, inclusivity....and common sense!!nnJUST A CHAIR PLEASE
I’ve always lived M&S and they have really stepped up with fashions and the foods recently. They cater for a much wider buyer and the range is huge, sometimes too much on offer.nYou need to try the chocolate covered custard creams, amazing!nYou can’t go wrong in M&S and I would definitely recommend a visit to store rather than just shopping on line. I feel in store is best.
Everyone knows if you want to spoil yourself or your loved one's you can pick up a multitude of essentials and treats. It's like being a kid in a candy store. We are lucky to have this store on our doorstep.
Easy to access wide aisles for chairs or buggies. Godd cafe which can get very busy at peak times. If you are a standard size it is often difficult to get a popular item in your size from the racks. This is particularly true in the lingerie dept. Im a 36e size 12. If I can get the bra I can't get the matching underwear that has some coverage. Not everyone wants high rise or Brazilian! That's my only gripe. My 1st stop for jeans . Always
