Went yesterday to collect an order. Only one lady on a till having to deal with a complicated return while the queue built up. She had to ask for help twice from another lady in the back who studiously ignored the queue because she was putting orders away. She came in and out on numerous occasions and never once looked towards the queue. Three more people in front of me also had problems, still no other member of staff came out to serve. Finally after 20 minutes of waiting it was my turn, got a reluctant ‘thank you for waiting’. I did have a word and said how poor the service was to be told orders had to be put away, sorry but not while there is a large queue of people waiting for a long time. Argos, you need to sort out this branch and the staff, very poor
Missed an item off click and collect from a large order of many items. Now I have to go back and try to argue they have missed it off. I assumed they wouldn't make such an error and with 3 small children with me I didn't check all items were there I assumed they would be! Customer service is absolutely useless
We are extremely disappointed and put off to every shop anything from this Argos in Cheadle branch.nA woman staff with glasses was extremely rude and very arrogant and mocking towards customer.nThis is unbelievable in this day and age where customer service takes priority .nI would definitely avoid this branch for foreseeable future unless this feedback is taken seriously and staff are trained appropriately to behave decently.

REPUTATION DAMAGE & EXTREMELY POOR, ARROGANT CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH SNIGGERING STAFFnnI recently went to buy a piece of luggage at Argos. At the same time, a friend of mine was at another counter trying to return a kettle she had bought the day before because it had a faulty lid. The customer service person was really rude and refused to accept that there was a fault. More than anything, the lack of tact and cooperation from the customer service representative was appalling. It upset me so much that I immediately returned the piece of luggage I had just bought. I decided I would not shop there again if that’s the way they treat their customers. This experience has really damaged the brand image of Argos and Sainsbury’s for me
