Reviews

The facilities here are limited to bowling greens, public toilets and a cafe but it is always neat and tidy. We often walk along the promenade with our dog and stop in the Marine Gardens cafe for a coffee. The park is dog friendly although they must be on a lead. My favourite part is the water feature on the west side of the park, although the entire gardens are pleasant all year round and volunteers assist with the gardening to keep the park looking good. Free street parking is available around the edges of the park and on the seafront.

Very good putting course with very friendly attendant and good prices. Cafe is in a nice quiet location with pleasant view.

Great place for a stroll with the family in all weathers. Today was a particularly beautiful start to the new year. Nice smooth surface for buggies scooters bikes roller skates etc. Beach play area for kids and several cafes close by.

Lovely place to eat. Good food. A nice gentle walk around the gardens afterwards.

Extortionate prices in the cafe. Ordered one packet of crisps and a can of Coca Cola £8.25, I was amazed, thought they had charged me incorrectly, but was told it was correct. So I put the items back and went elsewhere.
