We recently went for lunch and in a word it was terrible. Out of five meals one was good three were just about acceptable and one was returned to the kitchen. The drinks we initially ordered weren't available and although replacements were given this was disappointing for a large establishment. My feeling is whilst the setting is lovely, the idea of these establishments trading under Michelin starred chefs names is at best misleading and at worst an excuse to charge excessively for way below average food. There are plenty of far better places to eat in Stratford-upon-Avon. Perhaps Marco should pop in for lunch not sure he'd be so happy having his name connected to it if he did! Or at the very least send the chefs for some training in order that the public aren't mislead into eating at what is far from the expected standard of a Marco Pierre White restaurant.
