One of the worst Pizza Express we've been to. We arrived quite early 11:40am to find the door locked, even though the website stated it opened at 11:30. A waitress came and opened the door and said that yes they were open. She then showed us to a table with an attitude that made me feel bad for wanting a table. For part of the meal, we ordered two lemonades. The waitress brought them over, gave one to me and one to the table next to us. She had forgotten that my wife wanted one too and had brought two sets of drinks orders out at once. My bruschetta and pizza were both on the fringe of burning. During the meal the manager and a waiter had a loud conversation about how yesterdays till was down and he wanted contributions from the waiting staff to make up for it, which obviously the waiter wasn't happy about. At least all of us got to listen into the gossip. Never again.

Food was pretty good - we had pizzas. The rectangular pizza was tasty and extremely hot (spicy). Restaurant was busy and quite noisy. However, the waitress we had was excellent. She got our order right (and it was quite tricky due to allergies) and everything arrived together. Believe me this is not often the case in restaurants. She was extremely professional, friendly and made our evening extra special by helping us reduce our bill as we didn't have some vouchers like many other diners. If yo don't mind being squeezed in on a busy summer evening the service is excellent and the food is good.

Good atmosphere, always nice did, grate looking building designed in a way that is very fitting with the rest of Stratford.

Fab friendly staff. Fantastic pizza. Accepts Taste card which was a bonus.
