Just had our first meal at this friendly local village pub. The food was excellent, decent portions for the price and friendly staff. They were very busy tonight with a Hen party and other diners, but were still jolly, smiley and professional, despite being very busy. We will definitely be returning to try other dishes.
Delicious food! Very friendly staff, were fully booked but let us eat in as we were in the area only for a few days. Very kind.

Friendly and efficient staff. Warm welcome. Varied menu of tasty dishes - starters, mains desserts and specials on the board. Two draught ales as well as other beers and ciders on "tap". Comfortable furnishings. A couple of hundred meters off the B3193 over a narrow bridge. Adequate car park.
A really lovely restaurant! We had the scallops, then duck with dauphinoise potatoes, and toffee oat cake. The food was brilliant, service was great and all were very friendly, couldn't fault it! Thank you for having us!
Our first time at this lovely pub. We will definitely be back. We had dinner with family and there was not a scrap of food left on anybody's plates. I would highly recommend a visit.
Outstanding eatery and pub with excellent selection of beers and cider. Always busy so reservations are recommended. Lovely both inside and out. Superb cuisine, beautifully presented. Luscious sweets. Set in beautiful little village nestling in gorgeous countryside. Nowhere better for many a mile.
