Loved our visit to Twisted Oak yesterday, highly recommend! We met for a family reunion with two young children and the staff were really accommodating. Lot's of space for the kids to run around in and a play park with a slide which was great fun for them. Food was great, everything tasted fresh and really yummy. Perfect pub food, so we will 100% be returning!
If you’re looking for a low budget and family friendly restaurant this is the place to go. Classic pub food, very cheap, large kids play area. Definetly wouldn’t recommend for a date night or quiet evening- it’s more for families. The lamb curry from the specials board was really nice.Food: 5/5
The pub is charming, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The Sunday carvery is particularly noteworthy and should not be missed. Dog friendly inside and outside on a lead.Food: 5/5
Booked a table in this lovely place for lunch as a pit stop to our holiday in St Ives and it was a great find. Not to far off the main road and very spacious. Dog friendly, staff friendly and great food. Will definitely use this again in the future when down this way.
Met for a reunion. We had the conservatory. We had sandwiches which were very tasty and came a few chips. The service was excellent and our waitress was very patient as we hadn't seen a lot of us for over 20 years so we were very noisy. She came to us in turn, making sure we were all happy. Thank you for helping us make our reunion so enjoyable
What a lovely place for a meal out. Great food with plentiful portions and served quickly. The food is always tasty and at a reasonable price. Love the family room with a secure playroom for kids to play with toys and slides. It means you can relax and take your time to eat your meal whilst the kids can get down and play, not many places have this facility. The staff are friendly and helpful. The place is clean and tidy and there is plenty of parking outside. Deffinately worth a visit.
Lovely country pub atmosphere suits all age groups. Lovely happy helpful staff. very good food, very fresh, plenty of choice. high chairs etc available my grandchildren loved the food. Children's play area outside keep my grandchildren aged 20 months and 6 amused for ages. Would recommend
Was here today for a birthday party. The two young girls with black hair on the bar were incredibly rude. Won't be going backFood: 3/5
Entered the pub last Wednesday 14th Aug. Asked if we could go to beer garden with the children, told yes and girl behind bar just let us go the wrong way !! Went back to bar and she was just stood there yawning . Bar was empty. Not a good look for the business having a yawning bored looking bar personFood: 4/5
This was our first pub meal in a long time, thanks to Covid, and was a reminder of what we've been missing all this time. Service and food were superb, friendly staff and great ambience. We are "fussy" vegans but they had us well catered for by their excellent menu. They deserve 5* in my opinion.
