Fantastic food and hospitality in a beautiful setting, highly recommend a visit.
Amazing place to go, great friendly staff. The log burners on a winters evening makes the whole place really cosy and inviting. Even felt happy and safe going during COVID, the new stretch tent with heaters outside is a bonus as well.
Perfect pub. In the winter there's a log fire and perfect rustic cosiness, in the summer you can sit by the river or huge beer garden and marquee. Canoe up from Exeter Quay for a fun day out. Plenty to do here for kids and families with events always being held. Our fave is the sausage and cider festival. Camping is even possible.
Food was fantastic, stopped here for lunch on our bikes.. amazing location.. the youngs app was very good and easy to work

Just came here for lunch, good food and great beer, especially next to the fire, great atmosphere and staff very attentive. we felt very relaxed even with the covid guidelines. The pub was very clean and the facilities were excellent. Will definitely come again and again and again
Visited the pub last weekend and will definitely be visiting again. The food was tasty with generous portions and they cater extensively for vegetarians and vegans. The staff were friendly and efficient and the pub was clean and sanitised regularly.
