Not been here for a few years. Not much changed. Foodcourt, tickets and the usual stuff.nThere was a security alert and evacuation while I was travelling.nEveryone was confused even the police. Good communication everyone.
Brilliant experience spotting trains.nLoads of advantages points where to stand. On my visit it was raining non-stop so had to remand undercover.
Big terminus but easy to navigate around to find platforms and entry to the tram network. Big information boards mean making your connections very easy, and a well staffed and well informed information centre add to the ease of using this station.nIt has a good atmosphere with plenty of light, and quiet a few cafes, coffee stalls and shops.nOnce outside its easy access to the city centre as well as buses.nFinally a great war memorial statue outside the main entrance is almost worth a visit in its own right.
Haven't been here for over 20years and it's changed massively, now reminds me of an airport, really well done, lots of shops and have to scan your ticket/qr to get through the barrier to the train. Big display sign to tell you where to go. Lots of staff for any issues. Charging point in the middle of the station. Very impressed
