I arrived at Manchester Piccadilly station and was impressed by its modern facilities and efficient layout. The staff at information desk and near the gate were helpful, and the bustling atmosphere gave me a sense of excitement for my visit to the city.

Very accessible and wheelchair friendly!nThis was my first time getting a train from MCR since becoming wheelchair bound so I was very nervous. I didn't need to be. The staff made it so easy! I booked Passenger Assistance via the App and then when I got to the station it was very clearly signed where I needed to go, and even if it hadn't been there were plenty of staff around to help.nI was there way ahead of time to make sure all was okay but there was a very well equipped passenger assistance lounge where I could wait comfortably with some of the best disabled toilets I've seen yep, since being in a wheelchair this has become a priority for me!.nHannah helped me onto the train, sorted a ramp and guided me to my seat, making sure I was okay and settled before getting off the train and radioing through to MK to let them know I was onboard.nA pleasant and stress-free experience at the station so I will be much more confident travelling in the future. Thanks!
