It’s alright, there are some shops and cafes, a sainsbury. All good but I was literally looking for a trash bin for 10 minutes and couldn’t find any, finally saw a cleaner and he said there is one outside the station! . No wonder why people chuck their garbage on the floor.
I arrived at Manchester Piccadilly station and was impressed by its modern facilities and efficient layout. The staff at information desk and near the gate were helpful, and the bustling atmosphere gave me a sense of excitement for my visit to the city.
This was a grand station to change trains at, headed by a colossal glass roof! The lobby has a similarly styled roof and is massive, featuring numerous places to eat or drink and expansive live departure boards. Platforms are appropriately sized for the services and signs make it easy to navigate around, showing the exits and different platforms. The staff were fine and the station was well-managed, having cleanliness maintained all over!
