Pleasant and relaxed. Excellent prices. Sports, toilets, seating and nice staff. Buses to Leeds available.Food: 4/5
Chose this pub as visiting a local attraction & managed to park in the very small car park at the back, probably only room for 3 cars really but not surprising as it's a local, city pub. It's not a flashy pub, a bit worn & tired with the decor but had attentive, nice & friendly staff. Ordered food which was nicely made & arrived in good time with the lady in the kitchen coming out to our table to check how I wanted my 2 fried eggs cooked on my gammon & chips meal! Brilliant! Ordered dessert afterwards which was presented well & tasted great! Menu had some good deals & the food was simple but tasty. Thank you to the lovely staff.
Was there with my mate, who was the DJ lovely staff, and a good vibe would happily come again. I haven't rated the food simply cos I haven't tried it, but it's easy to get to and lots of nice people in there too !Service: 5/5
Booked for a party of 6 a month in advance for a friend's birthday. Arrived on time only to be told they had no tables available for us and that we 'should've booked' by who I can only assume is the manager Kaz . After explaining for the second time that we did book we were told that they'd recently moved over to a new system for bookings and ours hadn't been transferred over. Another staff member petite girl with dark hair on shift was trying to help us out and find a way for us to still dine with them by moving some tables around, however Kaz told her she couldn't move the tables in order to cater for the dogs in the pub. Surely you would think paying customers would take priority over dogs but evidently not. The other staff member was nothing but apologetic and told us other places in the area that we could try. Not a single apology was made by Kaz and she made us feel like it was our fault, even though we booked well in advance. All of our party have or do still work in hospitality managment roles included and we were appalled with the way this so called manager dealt with us. We would like to thank the young girl who dealt with us in a professional manner and who tried everything she could to help us out.
Called in today for a breakfast which was great and for a pub meal nice touch for staff to ask if everything was OK, beer is cheap and good, sky sports, pool table, seating area outside with TV in window so you don't miss the match going on. All in all a great pub experience.
The best Indian food at a great price with so much choice, we will be eating hear again and againFood: 5/5

The best place in ls12. Great free pool on a Monday!
It was hideous, and I will never go there again. Well, unless I want to poison myself then I know where to go. This place needs help because it's a massacre. Gordon Ramsay need to see that. That's the English breakfast at this place
Really lovely friendly staff. Was quiet when we were in but food was to a great standard and came super quick. Asked if everything was ok with meals and cleared up pretty quickly as well. Large portions and were happy to change eggs of my order as I don’t like them. Will definitely be returning : Vegetarian options: Halloumi Kabab was very nice. Has chillis in so if you not a fan of spice ask for them to be taken out!
