Very hot last week. Good costa and wh smith for snacks. The Receptionists very helpful. Dont forget if a patient to book in first.
It's a very busy hospital with a row of self check in terminals.nI had a direct appointment which meant that I didn't need to self check in but they are easy to use in multiple languagesnI wanted to know where my ward was for my upcoming operation so I asked at the main reception desk where I was greeted politely & she gave me directions to the wardnOn entering pre assessments one of the staff looked up & smiled taking my details & gestureed to the waiting area & asked if I could take a seatnI then was called by a very friendly guy who lead me to the correct room.nI was given a hospital gown & asked to put the gown on, he then left the room to give me some privacynHe then proceeded with a very thorough ecciocardagram being very respectful towards menHe told me my results, gave me time to dress & then led me back to the reception
Signs for some departments are lacking, but nice and clean areas. Parking can be an issue at times depending on what time of day you arrive.
The Royal Stoke has all the problems the NHS has!nParking is non existent so I parked at ''the old ambulance station'' my appointment ran over and I was charged £60.00 because I was late back !!!!! Discusting.
Always get a Parking space ,shame about Homeless ppl Residing outside B&M which closed down.make's place look untidy now .
