We ordered egg fried rice and the salt and pepper chicken but upon eating the food, I wish I made my own rice. The egg fried rice was really bland and we needed the assistance of ketchup to complete our meal. However, I must say, the service was excellent as we got to the restaurant 2 mins before they shut and he was waiting for us patiently.
We had pork with green pepper and black bean sauce with rice and it was as expected. Very hot temperature wise and delicious. Not only that, they prioritised our order on a busy Easter Sunday as our order was small. Would highly recommend for a very fullfilling meal in price and deliciousness!Food: 5/5

The food was really delicious, and we all agreed it was one of the best Chinese takeaways we ever had. The staff are so friendly and polite. We ordered.. Sesame King prown toast Vegetarian spring rolls King prawn chow main x2 x1 Dry, X1 wet Chips Sweat and sour chicken Spare ribs in Cantonese sauce It was a great meal, highly recommended.
Good vegan options! We had salt and pepper chips, sweet and sour tofu and vege fried rice with no egg. We would definitely eat here againFood: 5/5
As a regular Chinese takeaway-er and after trying all of them in the lakes, I can verify with confidence that it is the best by far. Tried pretty much whole menu.5 starFood: 5/5
Very hit and miss which was disappointing after reading such good reviews. chicken satay delicious, kung po chicken was just ok but we also ordered veg curry asked for it extra hot and spicy it was absolutely tasteless it was stone cold in some places warm in others and swimming in chilli oil, which hadn’t been mixed into the main sauce the chilli oil was so obviously just thrown in to attempt an upgrade to a spicier dish, as you could see the clumps of chilli from the bottle of oil, not a great experience.
We've waited 7 years to be able to come back and have this Chinese again. It was worth the wait! Hopefully it won't be as long before we're back againFood: 5/5
We got a takeaway from here during our stay in Windermere and I would definitely go back. The price is very reasonable and the food is so tasty - and this is coming from somebody who is chinese!. They do get busy on the weekends so I would advise ringing up to pre-order well in advance of opening to avoid disappointment!Recommended dishesSpecial Fried Rice, Pork Spring Rolls, Sweet & Sour Pork
Amazing good, really friendly staff, great vegan options rare in Windermere would eat here again!
