Well, what can I say?  We were staying in the Lakes and I was looking for a takeaway to deliver on the first night as didn't feel like cooking. Jays website popped up and it looked really interesting and I'm very happy it did. The food was exquisite!  If you live locally and have a favourite takeaway I urge you to give it a try or if you're visiting the Lakes treat yourself.  I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The only problem is that I'm not sure I'll be satisfied with any takeaway or Indian from a restaurant after this it was that good! Oh and if that's not enough then the price is very reasonable too! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Very high quality home cooked Indian food. Quiet impressive and the fact they deliver within Windermere is a huge bonus. Loved the chicken curry, the spinach curry and the Dal which is what we ordered. Thank you jay...

Discovered Jays Indian Kitchen via a Google search and a scan of the existing reviews, whilst enjoying a short stay in Windermere. The food was exceptional and is highly recommended. We went for the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was full of flavour... and Mama’s Chicken Curry, which was slightly more spicy and tasted delicious an authentic dish with lots of chicken breast pieces. The popadums, chipati’s and garlic naan bread were great just right too. Overall, one of the nicest Indian dishes we’ve had and we can’t recommend Jays Indian Kitchen highly enough...!!

we r staying at limefitt park and fancied a nice curry. found this on Google. so glad they deliver to the park. the food was delicious. the lamb curry was so nice the lamb was cooked perfect. thanks

The lamb curry is excellent the veggie dishes I believe are also as good. Great garlic nan good local delivery best in town

Very tasty food! Quite a small menu but as it is run out of his own kitchen I can understand why! Would recommend

This place is closed. Went looking for the place after calling up several times and it is not found. Such a shame!
