Lovely site next to the Loch. Enjoyed sitting by the water watching the boats and ducks! Stunning view of Ben Lomond also. Site is next to the main road which is noisy all through the day/night with passing traffic. Good showers - powerful & hot (and free). Some of the staff are highly strung - not very helpful and making a big deal out of nothing (we arrived with 3 tents after only booking 2 pitches - this turned out to cause upset with some staff even though site was quiet with plenty of space for an extra tent). This could have been paid for and sorted with ease but took a lot of chat and confusion!

Friendly welcome. There is a bell for arrivals after 5.30. Quite pricy for two adults and dog at £28. Sheltered under trees with gravel pitches and good views of loch. Showers really powerful but only 2 per block. It is a shame that staff at these sites feel the need to stick signs up with sticky tape and then leave the sticky residue on the nice clean walls.

Made to feel very unwelcome and an incovience rather than customers. After backpacking through the highlands for a week, we decided luss would be a great spot to spend the last night before heading home. This was the worst decision we made for the whole trip. Not because of the location, which was beautiful, but because of the service. I don't expect much, but I would expect a business to be a little keener to look after customers, rather than belittle them. As non members we were prepared to jump through a hoop or two, but not 6,567 hoops.... I was almost ridiculed by the lady who shown us to our pitch after she discovered that my tent wasn't 100% in line with the peg. As she almost had a panic attack I looked around to see an almost empty field and explained we were within the criteria we were originally given. There needed to be 6 meters between the next tent.... I estimated about 200 meters. Further down the line, my parents met up with us who had also been travelling the highlands. More huffing and puffing ensued from said lady. No trailer tents allowed for non members, no wheels on grass for non members... we offered to sign up. 24 hours notice required... maybe to let the grass prepare itself??? I always imagined the camping community to be more easy going. Not elitist. After speaking to other campers on the site who were members, they also shared these views and did say they were considering wether or not to renew their membership. Please change your ways

Fantastic location with good facilities. Good views direct from some pitches. Noisy road.

Although arrived in the pouring rain in July,after an overnight journey from Worcestershire, we could tell immediately that this was a beautiful site. Our pitch overlooked Loch Lomond and to wake up each morning of our weeks stay, to see that fantastic view was pure joy. Everything was well maintained and spotlessly clean. Being able to go down some steps and access the shore was an added bonus. We could see the staff worked hard to maintain a high standard and were very pleasant. We would definitely recommend a visit here.
