Reservation is not required. It's a small, basic, but cozy campground next to the WHW and very convenient considering wild camping is forbidden along this part of the trail. Make sure to arrive early because spots are limited. There is no staff and they ask for a small fee in a letterbox. There are a few toilets and showers, as well as a sink and water for the dishes. There are 2 charging points that can be used freely for you phone, ... There are no cooking facilities.

Friendly service. Great price. Warm shower facilities - cleaned regularly. Indoor area for cooking, with charger point. Perfect backpacking campsite, when you want to enjoy the countryside. Recommended!

It's totally basic but that's all you need at this stage in the WHW. Get there early for a decent pitch. Don't worry about the log cabins, they are more like sheds. It's fine for pitching a tent and using the shower/running water. Cheers

great campsite with a lovely pub/restaurant serving great food. toilets and showers clean with good backpacking facilities.

It's fine for one night backpacking. There is a restaurant, bus stop etc in 30 minutes walk to Croftamie (a very nice and beautiful walk). The camping is sweet and idyllic. The view on the cows next to the camping was cool to wake up with. The bathrooms were not very clean, but it was fine for camping. There was a possibility for charging your phone. There was also an inside eatingplace.
