I only see the owners 1ns during my 3 days stay, I rang the number that was on the conformation email and the lady on the phone told me the owners have gone tescos so I had to let myself in!
No TV in my room 
Had to buy my own sugar, tea bags and milk
No hair dryer 
Had to move the kettle to next to my bed as the lead was to short 
Heating was rubbish 
Had to share our own bathroom 
Bed was uncomfy and very noisy 
Was on a busy road 
No net curtains up 
Fridge made a loud noise

Great hotel with welcoming host. Could do with signage to show you where it is in the dark. Towels are very small but didn't check to see if there was a bigger one they could give me. Only negative is the fact that there's no tv if you want entertainment. Rooms are tastefully furnished and clean. Would happily stay here again if I'm in the area.

Would not recommend if it's last place in southend no TV  very uncomfortable and the Buddha room smelt of urine near the window

The room is nice enough - warm, comfortable bed etc. But the bathroom is not adjoining, meaning we have to venture out into the ground floor hallway to access it, far from ideal for showing etc. Also, the bathroom is absolutely freezing too. All in all, a decent place to stay but not amazing.

We were shocked that in the Lotus Lodge Southend Essex was awful. I needed rest as I came for hospital treatment at 6 pm.. I asked in day was there a TV and was told no, because we do yoga on premises , I said nice room peaceful but front room first floor very noisy on road , so window only opened tiny bit.
Then on reflection, thought from 630 pm , I can't walk so had to just stare at wall.
Till you went to bed 
The room was small even though it said double 
But I don't understand if no TV they why wifi 
Because if you new there was no TV you could set up on device you have from home which I would have brought , sorry no I would not have booked for me . I had that right and you should put this on your site , not we have wifi , that's confusing, automatically thing you had TV 
Not all people can walk a round for evening 
I had a treatment at hospital and just wanted to lie on bed 
What could you have done for 7 hours
I should get refund because it does not state no TV
And because you put wifi We thought as all bed breakfast Hotels you would have this facility 
Not happy and will take this further 60 pounds a lot of money for couple hours we then went home
You didn't even meet us half way nothing on your site states you do yoga so no TV strange and false , if you put this down it was our choice to pay for different hotel, due to my circumstances and what does yoga have to do with my experience 
Not happy customer 
And at local hospital by you no one understood your logic 
As said I couldn't not walk round town see the sights as I had treatment on my back just wanted a quite evening , not 8 hours staring at a wall  and ended up in pain driving home
