I love the walk here. Very peaceful, lots of nature and greenery. Lots of benches to sit and reflect. It's dog friendly so lots of people walking their pets. History posts dotted about for a quick read. Playground: Two playgrounds, one for smaller children and the other is for older children. Restrooms: No toilets that I know of. Dog-friendliness: Yes very dog friendly. Picnic area: Lots of picnic areas around.
Lovely park, nice walk around, carpark & charging point for cars. Nice little cafe & toilets. Little area with hens & goats. Ice cream van comes around after 3 in afternoon.
Beautiful park!! Would certainly come back again if we’re in the area. Although we didn’t eat there the cafe looked lovely, and it’s always nice to have free toilets at places like this. In the autumn the colours were beautiful and it was really nice and peaceful with the wildlife and bird sounds. Our little dog loved exploring too.
Spacious and has gardening space with good floral collection. Enjoyed the visit in summer. Playground: Fun place for kids Restrooms: The Cafe has a good restroom.
Large but unkempt & uncared for park/space between Stretford & Chorlton. Pity as there are several children's play/adventure areas & lots of space for sport, paths for walking with buggies & wheelchairs, parking, tea room. For a fairly small investment it could be so much better.
Really lovely park. I don't feel we saw half of it. The playgrounds are well looked after and plenty for children of all ages to do. The pets corner is really cute but it's a shame you can't stroke the goats. The gardens are beautiful and even the squirrels are really take and come close to you! We didn't use the cafe or toilet facilities this time but will do in the future.
Fortunate enough to live on the road by the Park, I visit regularly, never fail to enjoy. It's lovely to sit in the gardens, only drawback is some irresponsible dog owners not keeping their dogs on a lead. We take the children onto the play areas which they love. Pets Corner is loved very much, and looked after so well by volunteers.
Two good parks. Lots of space to kick a ball about. Lovely gardens. Great cafe and regular ice cream van. Animal corner. Paths decent for biking or roller skating. Always a fun trip.
Decent park, the disc golf course is great. Still playable despite the recent weather. Some of the dog walkers are a nuisance, oblivious of other people using the park and not controlling their pets.
So much for the eyes to consume and so much for the children to do! Perfect for a walk, a run, a cycle, a place to read and/or to write.
