Good area to visit with children. Has play area and gardens you can have a walk around. Nice cafe serving some very nice snacks, and they are just finishing completing a cycle track around the park. If you like local produce, have a look at the small shop selling various items.
One of the Best Parks around Manchester, few minutes off M56, car parking facilities available with overspill at Athletic Tracks, children play area, newly refurbished cycling tracks for all seasons, beautiful walking trails, open tennis courts, horse stable and farm animals, Café and Ice Cream Van on site, great time for all abilities! Highly Recommended!
Lovely and much needed green space on the edge of Wythenshawe. Has a working farm, and vegetable gardens which are not fully utilises to the best benefit of the community. Shame Nice kids play park Cafe with yummy cakes and the ubiquitous ice cream van Been now for Festival Manchester, a free weekend event with a Christian Message. It was wonderful. Nice day, not too hot a real family event
Lovely park, although I feel I've only seen a small section of it. I'm yet to visit the hall. The farm is really cute aswell as the walled gardens with the lambs, goats and chickens. There's also a beautiful little shop selling produce and excellent priced plants! The toilets were dire when we visited. Luckily we only needed to wash our hands after feeding the animals but they were a state, no loo roll or paper towels or handwash. They have a lovely courtyard eating area which sells really yummy food, we didn't visit this time round as it was closed but have been there in the past and will visit again, there are toilets in that area which are definitely a huge difference compared to the farm toilets. The play park is fab for all ages and has an ice cream van outside £3 for a '99' with sherbert!!! Get an ice cream from the court yard, you'll save yourself some! All in all, a lovely place to visit and explore.
Came to this park for the Dino kingdom experience. Such a nice big park. And was so clean and tidy. We noticed a lovely play ground but didn't have chance to go on it as we were leaving. Will more than likely come back here again to walk around and explore more.
Great park to explore, with something for everyone - playground, tennis courts... Also very affordable cafe with great selection of food.
Took the kids to the park for Dino Kingdom. The boys loved it. Food was pricey like £6 for a hot dog, £7.50 for a turkey & stuffing sandwich but it's like that anywhere where they draw you in to take your kids. Park is huge and parking was reasonable worked out £1 per hr. It's quite a walk to get to the Dino location so really you only get 2hrs there,
Where you are going to ride the horses, play in the play park, play tennis or going for a walk around the grounds whythenshaw park has a lot to offer. On my walk round today I found an Easter tree... Nice little find on my way around.
Awesome park, good for a nice long walk, plenty for kids to do including play area and farm. A good cafe on site with toilets available. In places the park could do with some maintenance/improvement.
We booked for the Dinosaur experience which my grandson loved. Lots of life size Dino's, & a few interactive activities. We managed to side step the fairground. A visit to the parks play area was a nice end to our visit.
