This huge building in the centre of Manchester is very handy for being able to orient yourself, park in the city centre and anything from gamble at 4am to watch the latest blockbuster at the cinema. Even despite all that it contains, you still get the impression that it's a vast empty space that no one knows quite how to fill. There is a nice quiet space on the top floor filled with donated books if you want somewhere to sit and rest. Also check out Axe archery or space roller disco if you want to do something unusual.
Through the years, this place hasn't quite been the success that it could have been; great location, nice space and architecture but not enough footfall to gain traction business wise. Which is a shame because there are some lovely places to go to here! Fortunately we hope, plans are in to turn this site into a new commercial and residential area whilst keeping the historic facade. Until then, this place still offers an interesting time to explore. Decent photo opportunities and also do visit the local shops especially along the Mews.
A nice complex of converted Victorian warehouses in central Manchester with shops, restaurants, cinema and if you fancy playing bowling while in the city you can go to the bowling alley there. There is also a hidden casino if you want to win some money or to loss what you have in the hope to win . The outside plaza is fantastic and you can sit and relax there to read or eat your sandwich or takeaway and you can finish it with a scope or two of ice-cream from the hut in the corner of the plaza
This is a very nice place to visit and take some pictures. There is an odean cinema here. Some good fancy restaurants, game zones and casinos. There are plenty of pubs and clubs nearby. The nightlife here is amazing and it is always open up to 3 am.
I thought we were coming to a much larger sandpit than it was, yet the kids had a good time. The area is not too great, yet it's simple enough to get there by bus plus a little bit of walking.
Perfect place to soak up the Manchester sun. Great pizza although the service was a bit slow it was worth the weight. Make sure you pay a visit to doormouse chocolate shop .Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
It is a great place to be in the daytime time and also night time. It has a cinema, bowling alley, arcade, skating arena, restaurants, and a couple of other interesting spots. If you have a date but don't really know where yo go, then this is a good place. You'd find something to do
This place is like something from a zombie film and completely devoid of human activity or things for humans to do if they did visit. It probably needs massive redevelopment. The Odeon is cheap as chips though.
The little northerners play centre is such an amazing place for babies. It’s the perfect place to let them explore and play in the role play area. And a huge thank you to who ever goes to the trouble to create scenes like this for them.
The ping hub is worth a quick game after work - but don't get too competitive
