Beautiful park between Rusholme and the universities. There a couple of benches and a playground. Easily accessible by bus with a bus stop right in front of the park There are toilets and changing tables inside Whitworth gallery, as well as a lovely coffee with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Restrooms: Toilets inside Whitworth Gallery

Whitworth Park is absolutely lovely – a real slice of tranquility in Manchester. Strolling through, you're surrounded by stunning greenery and flowers that seem to pop with color. It's so peaceful, the perfect spot to unwind or have a leisurely walk. I love how well-kept everything is, from the lawns to the paths. There's a certain charm here that you just feel - it's a little haven in the midst of the city bustle. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area and looking for a moment of calm.
A fantastic park to have a walk, read and relax. Dog-friendliness: They are allowed, but take care of them. Picnic area: There are several zones to have lunch.
One of the best parks around to hang out and chill with friends Playground: The playground has a lot of facilities provided, really fun to play! Restrooms: No restrooms here Dog-friendliness: Dog-friendly I suppose Picnic area: The whole park is suitable for picnic and very clean as well!
Really nice park with a lot of younger and older kids playground. It also has an outdoor gym equipment. Plenty of open spaces for picnics and just running around. Few access points from various roads in the area.
First time to come this park, really hard to find a parking space around this area especially close to Oxford Road. Quite a lot children facilities here though and nice shadow under trees around the playground. Many people enjoy sun shine in the field instead. It’s the season to go to park and exploring everywhere for kids and your mental health.
Lots of squirrels!!! very clean. very nice. Playground: clean. nice. kinda small though.
View @ Whitworth Park. . This public park runs through part of the university campus. . Amongst the birdlife to have been spotted in the park are the goldfinch, greenfinch, ring necked parakeet, fieldfare, redwing and waxwing. . Drays of squirrels run free, usually a rare sight, but fairly common here. Saw a hungry fellow munching furiously on a nut it found.
This is a small but beautiful park neat the campus of the University of Manchester.
