This is a really interesting museum. There are a lot of interactive parts to the museum as well such as a couple of opportunities to drive a tube simulator, sitting in the driver's seat of a bus, getting on some old train carriages etc. You can easily spend a few hours in here. Entry is a bit pricey but you do get an annual membership as part of the cost. Even if you're just visiting once I would say it's good value for money
Superb museum, we went as a group of adults and had a fantastic time. There's so much to see that the year long ticket makes for great value, as I definitely think we could visit again and see more we didn't notice the first time. Lots to interact with as well as read making the experience immersive and educational. Wonderful cafe and gift shop too.
We visited this museum a few months back. It is a nice place for kids to enjoy themselves. The way they displayed and maintained the museum is very good and makes the visit a memorable one. Definitely the worth place to go for more pictures. Informative place for students to learn how transportation evolved. It took 2 hours for us to completely explore the museum with photographs taken.
I enjoyed this museum from my childhood, It was great for the vehicles again. I made the mistake of visiting when it's half-term, as I really like getting grossed in what I'm reading, but it was too noisy & busy, good to see kids learning & enjoying, but best to go when less are there. Great gift shop and facilities.
The extensive display of transportation in London, includes original carriages, coaches and vehicles. There are also many interactive activities for children of all ages. The staff is very pleasant and readily available for questions or clarification. All of the kids we encountered were having a great time. We will definitely bring my granddaughter back.
Our visit lasted 2 hours in total but this could have been longer if we had taken time to read more of the information boards and watch more of the videos. this was quite difficult with a 6 year old and a 2 year old that did not want to stand around for more than 30 seconds. There were a few play areas for the children that they really did want to play in but there were so many other children and parents in the area it was not a pleasant experience. The stamp trail has quite a few stampers not working but ink stampers could be requested to fill the card at a couple of locations inside. The cafe was very expensive, so I would recommend eating before you visit or taking snacks. There also isn't a great deal of seating areas. You have to buy an annual pass to get in £24.50 or £23.50 conssession but I'm not sure I would visit again in the next 12 months my last visit was 18 years ago.
Not a big museum but definitely worth a view. You may need 2 hours to go through and read/interact with all contents. By the way the shop is also fun and I really recommend. Money can be saved off peak if you come in weekdays afternoon later than 2 pm.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Crammed full of information surrounding the history of London public transport. Plenty of exhibitits to keep the children occupied also. We had a fantastic visit to the transport museum and I was particularly happy to see a tribute to Harry Beck who dedicated his life for pretty much nothing to designing the underground mapVisited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes

A very nice place to visit with kids in interest of Buses or Trains. There are several old buses and metro trains which can sit in and feel the cabins that served London a hundred years ago. Kids can also pretend driving buses, and even try to be Metro driver of Elizabeth line in an interactive game. That's a long-queue item here.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
