Whilst visiting the Uists some of the party wanted to watch the Liverpool European match. Called around and this place said they would put it on for us. They opened up the back bar for us and were really friendly. There were some delicious smells coming from the kitchen but we had already eaten. Had some excellent pints of extra cold Guinness with some excellent banter.

The hotel is a bit dated, (they are renovating), but comfortable. The staff we very helpful, even telling us that our ferry the next morning was going to sail 2hours late (9am rather than 7am). Giving us an extra lie in.

Spot on place. Late in December and still a warm welcome, open fire and excellent food Not a bad pint of Guinness too

Old style hotel bit shabee but comfortable. Well situated. Lovely stuff.
