The place (Pier restaurant) is desperately in need of attention, disposable tablecloths would be an improvement over sticky tables. Busy locals bar (Bakur bar) with pool table and the 'restaurant' area on the other side of the building right next to the sea. Friendly, smartly attired waiting staff. Good local ales (brewery across the road!) and wide choice of malt whiskies for which we were inadvertently overcharged until we brought it to their attention. We ate there twice last week, langoustines (main course £21 for huge portion) the first time and fried fish/chips (£12) on the next occasion. Both were excellent other than the very average chips with the fish. With a small amount of vision and investment this place could be right up there with the best. Order fish and chips or something from the specials board and you should be safe. Located next to the small ferry terminal (Harris, Lewis etc). Serve all day from around noon I think. Be brave and good luck :)

Always eat here before the ferry. Never had a bad meal. Always good food and free WiFi. Staff friendly and have even been bought the occasional whisky by welcoming locals late on as the evenings warm up! The one star reviewers must be a right miserable shower if they can't enjoy themselves here.

Great Mac and Cheese and the best Sticky Toffee Pudding (I still dream about it)! Nice and friendly place!

8 pounds for a club sandwich. Bacon wasn't cooked properly, Mostly fat. Baguette was of the frozen variety and was suprisingly soggy. Staff were nice but food was not. Feels like a tourist trap that can get away with charging quite a bit for badly made food.
