The notification of your prescription has stopped. So you just have to chance it. The pharmacists here are shocking. No care for the customer. I had to deal with 2 separate one's this week. One on Wednesday took my number and said he'd call me when my thyroid medication was ready.... nothing. On Friday no one apologised for this, the assistant even remembered me. The pharmacist was extremely rude. I felt very upset and left upset. Never in my 10 years taking these tablets have i had this trouble and had to accept a mix of different tablets. I will be taking it further and nomanating a different pharmacy.
I’m shocked to read the bad reviews because my experience of this pharmacy have been really good, and the pharmacist could not have been more helpful - I moved locally last year and have been driving 15 mins to go to my old pharmacy because they were so good till I discovered this one!
Mostly friendly staff but over the past few months its services especially prescriptions have become terrible. No notifications that prescriptions are ready. They have done this for years but now it’s apparently not a right but just if they feel like doing the patient a favour. I, and many others, can’t spare the time to call in day after day on the off chance that they have managed to fill your prescription.
Past bad reviews since covid, I feel are unfair. Every NHS linked service has been overwhelmed & understaffed. A new system was put in place which caused problems. Now they are back to a smooth running service. I couldn't give better reviews of the staff. They're all so helpful and friendly. It shows they care. Matt pharmacist is very knowledgeable and professional. All the staff are very down to earth, friendly and without judgement. Emma, especially. So don't let the bad, misinformed reviews put you off
This chemist has repeatedly let my elderly grandmother down with dispensing her medication. Every time there is a slight variation, they cannot cope and make mistakes. Their actions have on several occasions presented safeguarding concerns. I understand this to be the opinion of many others who have had the misfortune of dealing with them too. The staff have been rude, obstructive and inflexible. Do not answer the phone either.
Very rude staff who can be very unpleasant and unprofessional to sick and elderly. This was our nominated pharmacy for many years but we decided we couldn't cope with the stress of them never giving us the correct medication, front of house staff being rude and upsetting and prescriptions never being filled on time or in a timely manner. They've now lost at least 7 patients as we, along with others we know, have transferred to a competitor with whom we've experienced no issues.
I had my flu jab yesterday morning by your really lovely Pharmacist, sorry I don't know his name. He listened to my concerns and explained everything. I honestly never felt a thing! My husband also went after work and had the same experience. When my time comes to have the COVID vaccine I definitely wouldn't hesitate for your pharmacist to administer it. Thankyou
Absolute joke! Have to wait over an hour for prescription even though you can clearly see its ready in the basket. The receptionist is always busy having unnecessary conversations with certain people all the time. And every time I'm in for my prescription there's always people complaining about the service there! So I'm not only the one complaining. Defo need better people working at the front!!! Deleted this pharmacy as my nominated one to the tesco one much better service over there
Was told to collect antibiotics from pharmacy. Went to pharmacy, didn't have the medication in. Was told I would get a call back when it was in. Received no calls. Tried to ring ahead, no answer on phone. Went back again the day after. No pharmacist there to give it to me so will now have to go back a third time. Bit of a joke when I have a bad infection in need of treatment
Have my prescription delivered, only called in for my flu shot. in and out.
