This review only relates to the pool for childrens swimming lessons. Still very busy, most showers leak, most changing cubicles don't lock, often dirty changing rooms, very strong chlorine in the pool and it is uncomfortably warm for any spectators. The lessons seem OK but sometimes progress is slow. Have been going for a few years but unfortunately it seems to be getting rapidly worse.
The guy with a long bushy beard unpleasant and disinterested.nnThe whole swimming pool area sticks of urine the pool itself , showers and the changing rooms. It just stinks everywhere . Absolutely disgusting. The showers leak sideways.nnOnly nice people are the front desk people, everyone else just rude, disinterested, unhelpful and just horrible as if they were there by force.nnThis time it felt quite cold as well. My son had blue lips and was shaking due to low temperature of the pool and the changing rooms as well.
Good pool & very accommodating of of our canoe polo competitions nnFive stars, as giving any less for the few minor niggles seems churlish given the state of the alternatives!
Visited as a couple with our toddler and left very disappointed. Booked online prior to our visit under ‘General Swim’ hoping to use the small pool. Nowhere obvious did it state the small pool would be out of use for swimming lessons meaning we were turned away as we attempted to enter the pool. Only option was the main pool which had been reduced to two lanes width for what felt like a lot of people, felt cramped and unsafe at times. Changing rooms need some TLC; showers easily blocked, floor throughout soaked and parent and baby changing room didn’t even have a lock so we had to use an awful smelling nappy bin to block the door! Would choose other LL sites over this.
Staff completely disinterested , web site must have been designed by someone with learning disabilities as it’s all but unusable , very limited ways to pay, direct debit for everything then very challenging to cancel , can’t be done online. If you want an example of how not to run a facility this is it , dirty , disorganised , with lockers and cubicles broken. Best avoided
