I had high hopes of this dealership having read many outstanding reviews and these guys lived up to the hype. I was valued, treated with respect , offered a generous test drive and all negotiations were fair on my part exchange. I took a risk buying a 3 litre V6 SUV from 2003 but felt reassured buying here. As it happens there was a power steering issue after 2 and a half months and Liberty dealt with it amazingly well and under warranty despite the cars age. So in summary, that rare thing: an honest car dealer with principles . Buy with confidence .
Bought my sons first car from here and all I can say is what a fantastic service we got. Abi was amazing and such a lovely genuine guy, we felt very nervous about buying a car but these people were brilliant from start to finish. Car is fantastic runs great looks fab, highly recommend liberty cars. Thank you.
With 6 hours to find a new car before being forced to hire one, Abi, Martin and Udi helped me purchase and tax a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso from Liberty Cars in time to collect my little boy from school. Not only was their advice and service considerably welcoming, they warmly accomodated both myself and my young son & daughter througout the process with drinks, sweets and paper to draw on. The after-sale service was also great as they efficiently helped me with unforseeable issues with the car which have since been resolved. I've never bought a car from a dealer before but I would happily use them again based on the outstanding service I received when purchasing my Grand Picasso. A special thanks to Abi who I primarily dealt with, who is a very affable guy and clearly cares about his customers which greatly imroves the reputation of Liberty Cars. You're a real asset, Abi! Thanks to you all :
Superb service, totally trustworthy. Saw the car advertised on Autotrader late on a Sunday evening, sent a message to Liberty Cars and within minutes I got a reply. As I was on the South coast and couldn't view the car myself, Steven described the car over the phone and organised delivery. Car arrived as described and I am very satisfied with the service provided and the car itself. Very impressed and grateful. Would definitely recommend.
I agree with the comment below in regards to bad communication and poor customer service. I recently purchased a car which came with warranty. I rang to book an appointment for a few repairs and was promised a call back the next day....in which, they never did. After calling numerous times, the phone was eventually answered and I was told the garage had shutdown and nothing could be done about the repairs. I spoke to Zuto , the company i sorted my finance with and they were unaware of Liberty cars shuting down as they had a customer who purchased a car from them very recently. Not sure what to believe anymore. Spoke to a man who is now opening his business there . He is very rude. He should learn some phone manners if he wants his business to take off. Save yourself the headache from this garage and buy elsewhere
Appalling service and misleading advertising. Saw the perfect car for my son on the website so caught the train to Manchester to go and purchase and collect it, waited half an hour for the guy who was "10 mins away" . The advert said "full service just done" when he arrived I looked at the service book which showed no service had been done for about 5 years, he also confirmed that it hadn't been done. He offered to get it serviced or give me a small discount on the vehicle which I accepted at this stage as this was now my ride home! Did the deal and sat in the car waiting for the advertised air con to kick in only to find there was no air con! It was basically a completely different model to the one advertised, I go back in the office to tell him I don't want the car and can I have a refund to find him with his feet up smirking, his response "I sell 30 cars a month mistakes happen", not even an apology, complete waste of a day and trainfare which had to be hastily purchased to get home. Avoid at all costs pleased I didn't drive off in it because who knows what problems would have happened in the future. I would give zero if I could absolute joke of a business and owner.
Bought a 2007 volvo v50 from liberty cars today drove it 100 miles home it didn't miss a beat. We live in the middle of Wales so getting the train to Manchester was nuts.Martin looked after us I would recommend buying a car from liberty cars it's nice dealing with a honest company great service
In a sea of questionable car dealers , Martin and his team stand out from the rest, his stock is always carefully selected so the customer always gets a great car , informative ,polite ,incredibly helpful and highly recommended . like a horse in a field .......OUTSTANDING! Many thanks

Fantastic place to get your car thoroughly cleaned. I currently pay just £10 for a full valet, including all windows cleaned and mats washed.
