Shafi Cars, Auto House Moston sold me a car, not had the car 6 months but has had numerous faults, coolant leak on motorway, smoke pooring out of bonnet and a Clutch system failure which I had to turn car off whilst driving to avoid a crash as I couldn't change gear, I was even advised to fix it myself by the lady on reception. Do yourself a favour and go to Dace as I have had cars from them that never had issues. So the latest development Sept 20th 2022 on this is The Auto House has decided they will not refund me my down payment of £2100, so they took my old car which they sold and then state they will not return my down payment or car surely that has to be illegal especially when I wasn't informed that my down payment was not refundable or at the time of the return of their vehicle was not told I wouldn't get my down payment back..... I was always told I would receive what I had paid which included the my initial down payment of £2100 or my car value which I paid to lower my finance agreement terms. This wasn't a holding deposit it was a part ex exchange handed over on the day I took my new car. Before buying a car from here head to a website I used called vehiclecheck.uk to check out the vehicle history it only costs you £10 to check any vehicle and you find out everything there is to know, I used it but only after I had made the purchase. Do not under any circumstances pay a down payment or part ex a vehicle unless you want to wave goodbye to it if anything goes wrong later on, get something agreed in writing first. Update Sept 2022 I have since made a formal complaint with CF247 and plan legal action to recover my down payment as I believe this is an absolutely disgusting way to treat people in my opinion. This review is a truthful account of what has happened to myself, it replaces my original review and I have only submitted this to highlight to the public my experience as to avoud anyone else going through the same. I am not saying you should not buy a car from this dealer by any means I am just making you aware of how I was treated and as a result of being threatened with legal action to remove my reviews so I have to be careful but still believe I have a right to leave an honest review.
