A terrible company that I would advise anyone to stay well clear of.nnMy direct drive LG washing machine had a fault and would not complete a cycle or drain properly, the clothes would not wash properly & were soaking wet. I raised the fault and a contracted engineer from Pacifica Peterborough attended. His solution was to simply put a tie wrap around the drainage hose and put it down to a poorly installed drain pipe, that had been fine for 4.5 years and left. Obviously this didn't rectify the fault.nnI contacted LG an hour after the engineer had left to raise the issue that he had not fixed the fault. It was like speaking to a brick wall, there was no empathy shown and I was told that the warranty was now void as it didn't cover poor installation of the machine. LG customer service must read from a script as I had to repeat myself over and over. Eventually I was told that they would contact me to book another engineer visit in a few days. It was a week before Christmas and I had already been a week without a washing machine, LG wanted to leave me without a washing machine for over 3 weeks during the Christmas period.nnThis was not acceptable, I explained that I am a Electrical Engineer myself and I would rectify the fault myself as I suspected that the drain pump motor was the faulty component. I had stated this on the initial request for an engineer, so his job had been done for him. I stated that I would send my invoice that included the part, my labour costs and inconvenience compensation to them for reimbursement. LG actually wanted me to get another company in to fix the fault and then send the invoice off for reimbursement, so that clearly shows not to trust any work they do as the engineers they use have no clue about LG products.nnI ordered the part at a cost of £51 that included next day delivery and fitted the new drain pump motor, the fault fixed. LG then contacted me a day after is fixed the fault to arrange an engineer. I explained that I had rectified the fault as I had stated on the phone and that I would be sending my invoice for reimbursement.nnI sent everything that was requested, including and engineering report and video. They have refused to reimburse me for anything and to top it off, I have received a text today telling me that my warranty is now void because I had to fix my own washing machine due to the incompetence of the contracted LG engineer. If I hadn't of fixed the fault myself, would of had to go without a washing machine for 3 weeks over the Christmas period.nnExtremely poor customer service, they don't care about their customers & show no empathy. STAY WELL CLEAR, I WILL CERTAINLY NEVER PURCHASE AN LG PRODUCT AGAIN.

I purchased a brand-new LG fridge freezer directly from LG. It was delivered damaged dented.nI reported the damage immediately, provided photographs, and have spent weeks chasing LG for a resolution. Despite repeated contact, no repair, replacement, or refund was offered.nPayPal buyer protection was refused due to their internal time limit, but this does not affect my statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which LG has failed to honour.nI am now pursuing the matter through my bank and preparing legal action.nBased on this experience, I cannot recommend LG’s direct-to-consumer service.
Purchased a new lg dish washer 6 months ago. Last dishwasher lasted 14 years. The LG dishwasher only lasted 6 months. After service engineer attended to day. I called to request a replacement. Customer service are zero help and one of the worst ones. I would never recommend any LG equipment. Disappointed and surprised withe the quality of product and service....
Absolutely disgusted with your service.nMy American fridge freezer compressor has fail after 4 years and I paid £215 repair service that you've said its can't be fixed and you're keeping 50% of that £215 fee and now you're trying to wash your hands of it by paying me off 50% of the units value.nI will never buy a LG product again.
