Went here to find a pair of jeans. Went up to the cash register where a manager and another girl were standing, no other customers on that floor at the time, no greeting from them as I approached, I told them what kind of fit I was after and asked for their help finding it as I had no clue where to start. They said women's was upstairs, and that's all the help I got. No suggestion as to what styles to try, and I had no idea about sizing. I went upstairs, another girl was up there but was busy with customers. I had a look around but felt so out of place and confused as to what I was looking for and what size. The manager came upstairs, I tried to catch her eye but she did not look at me and walked straight to the office. I went back downstairs, the other girl at the till was looking down at something. Did not raise her head as I left. Really surprised at the lack of customer service, I had heard they are generally pretty good. Feel a bit awkward to go back now as I did not feel welcome there and don't want to be made to feel like that again. Only good thing about the store was it looked nice and neat.
"Can I help you with anything?" With all due respect, no, you can't. Please don't ask a further 3-5 times. Please don't try to force your sales on me. I always feel like I'm being followed around and pestered in this shop. I'm quite capable of browsing your selection myself, so please stop asking me if there's anything you can help with - It's very uncomfortable. It's a shame because I like the clothes in this shop but I absolutely hate being pestered. If I need help, I'll ask. Thanks.
Everyone in the store are so helpful and friendly. I foundyself buying a few last minute presents for my friend and they were so helpful I buy something almost everyday
What an amazing team this store is! Came in today with my uncle whom has learning disabilities so things sometimes take longer. Not once did we feel uncomfortable, felt like he had his own personal shopping experience. I can not thank your team enough for this. Nothing was ever to much. So thank you for all taking the time
Went into the store in Southampton with a faulty item yesterday. We were delt with by some very helpful young lady's. Nothing was to much trouble and the issue was sorted very promptly. Thank you.
Lovely assistant. Didn't even blink at the six pairs I tried on. And she didn't mention that the pair of dark blue 511s I bought were what she suggested in the first place. Nice little shop too. Beating J Lewis next door hands down.
