Since the new management, prices have seemed to go up. The Specials were pricey, seeing as tho it is from a packet and also wasn't that hot and lacked flavour. The service wasn't what we normally would expect. We weren't asked if our food was okay, yet the people on the table just down from ours were asked. I also went to the bar to get a refill on drinks and had to say that we were finished with our food before our plates got cleared away. They had no Coke on tap, which is fine, but they had a bottle of Full fat normal Coke out on the side, not even in the fridge, making the drink taste warm, we didn't even get a choice as to if we wanted full fat cola or diet. The atmosphere was dead, but that could just be to the time of day we went in.
Really enjoyed our meal here. 9 of us all enjoyed our meal and the staff were excellent. Good value as well.Food: 5/5
Really enjoyed this pub, mainly for the good vibes inside. From the outside and inside, there isn’t anything that majorly stands out looks wise. However, the staff were friendly, the owner was really kind and the the resident dog made it feel more homely... It was decent pub grub, I enjoyed my steak and ale pie :. The owner even waved us off when we left... you don’t get that at your average town bar/pub. Note: There is pool and darts area available and seating / small kiddy area outside as well decent amount of parking.
Went for a meal with 4 people. All had something different each and every meal looked amazing and tasted fantastic. Will defo be going again . Service was really relaxed didn't feel rushed

I booked & took my friend who was down from Notts for the Sunday roast. We had beef dinners & a lamb roast dinner. Desite the place being full, all members of staff were friendly, smiley & very effiicient. The dinners were very high quality & very good value. The desserts board had plenty of course & were delish as well. We have recommended Lesters to all our friends & will continue to go there from Ramsgate. Also Lesters is all accessible & because of this I was able to walk in using my stick & not need my wheelchair.
Been meaning to do review because this place deserves recognition where as it ticks all the boxes.new managementGreat food & staff,thank you for that experience!

Average roast nice enough staff decent except one who when I cheered over the football decided it was ok to lean over the bar in the restaurant and shout at me like a child and embarrass me in in front of everyone only to be followed by who I think was the landlady trying to justify her staff yes I shouted when a goal nearly went in but to be spoke to like that is outrageous after all it was only Lester’s who show football anyway would not be seen dead in there ever again and only down to the 2 girls looking for confrontation average experience
