Traditional local’s pub in Margate Old Town. Much bigger than it appears from the outside with large back rooms. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Well kept ales but doesn’t sell food apart from snacks. Definitely worth a visit.
Real friendly pub. Met the legend Nigel who is very chatty. Ale & Gin bar with gin of the month. Tried the pale ale. There is much more to this pub than what you see on the outside. I was going to give it a miss. It has an open beer bear garden facing the main road and pier. 2 TV sports channel, pool table, darts board. Inprovised qiuz by Nigel on Mondays. Top quizmaster 'Grohan?'
Nice old pub with a nice atmosphere. Good to feel that old vibe again. Straight opposite the sea, quaint corners & outside seating. Football on but not intrusive.
Nigel n staff always like to chat . Very pleasant . Been using the pub for years and will continue to.
Lovely pub. The landlord is very friendly and the whole place is warm and inviting. Dogs welcomed - always a plus
Lovely old pub, friendly landlord and excellent staff with a good choice of beers on tap
Nice small pub, good atmosphere in a good location. I would recommend it.
