Fantastic restaurant with a super friendly and helpful team. I definitely would recommend this place. The food was beautifully prepared and they had a great selection of craft beers from the local area. I tried the turmeric prawns, chicken Thai noodles and tiramisu. All delicious! I’ll definitely be going back!
Probably the best dining experience I've ever had, each course was perfection on a plate, can't wait to go back. The staff are doing a brilliant job too 5 star
Great food! Had the burger and tandoori chicken. Food came out quickly and was great. Parking was convenient at the car park down the road. Great location to the castle. Took a little while to our our check, but overall we were glad we stopped in.
I have to say the food was nice. Service was very good, but for the price of the food which I honestly don't mind paying as it's not mad does not reflect in the quality. My starter was missing parts off it. The duck I have no complaints their as I loved it worth the money. My wifes starter was just ok also. The main course definitely did not reflect the cost. I'm comparing it to the likes of the villager in Glasson. Same price but big difference in the quality of the food in my opinion But I will be back again and might need to update this review.
Visiting Athlone from US. Stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday. Can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed the special of Pasta with Smoked Salmon in a cream sauce. Also paired nicely with a delightful glass of Verdejo wine. Definitely recommend!
Lovely restaurant but left disappointed. I had the Warm prawn, chorizo & baby potato salad with garlic, chilli flakes & lemon zest on mixed leaves. There were only 5 prawns in the dish with 5 little potatoes on a bed of mostly lettuce and cucumber. Prawns were not even fresh, definitely overpriced for 15.50. I was really disappointed.Food: 1/5
A must visit if in or near Athlone! Such a chic, bright and cozy bistro with great quality food and presentation at a reasonable price. We were well looked after and really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I had the day’s special sea bass with chickpeas ratatouille and shoestring fries which was delicious and the rest of the group had the burger and pulled pork dishes. Everything tasted great and if we had more room in our bellies we would have also ordered dessert.
Really lovely dinning experience. Food was great, staff were friendly. Would defiantly recommend.

Great place to visit in Athlone. We stopped here for lunch on our way to the west coast. When you ask the host: what would you recommend? And hear: “everything is nice” is actually very true. They have a wide selection of cakes & desserts as well.. worth the visit.
