"The Lawns in Yate is a family-friendly pub that welcomes customers every day of the week. Our focus is on great value pub grub. Stop by for lunch, dinner, or just a beer any day or night of the week. With our friendly staff, nothing is too much. Let us get you a drink whilst you browse the menu. We have the lot; draught lagers, craft beers, ciders, wine, cocktails and soft drinks. As you look through our food menu you’ll see we’ve got a whole bunch of starters, mains and light bites. Choose from our pub classics, home cooked carvery, curries, street food and more. Join us outside on our patio, or come and find a cosy spot inside. We’ve even got a separate children and family area."
The lawns have changed hands and the food has improved massively! The quality is impeccable, the service was great and we will definitely be back after avoiding this place for the last few years. I would definitely recommend anyone giving these guys another chance. It's cleaner, brighter and a much better atmosphere. 5 stars from me
Had a meal here tonight on a Monday, top notch. Staff were very friendly, nice atmosphere. Highly recommended. See you on a Sunday for lunch.
Good friendly service. We didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive. We had Sunday roasts dinner which came out piping hot with a good selection of veg & plenty of well cooked meat. It was excellent value for money. I have already recommended you to a friend.
A group of us tried to visit for an afternoon of drinks and food but we couldn’t even park as the car park was full with parents picking their kids up from school, we continued down the road to a pub called the Farmhouse, parked with ease. Glad we found this lovely pub which serves a super pint at a sensible price and they’ve got a pool table too!!
We arrived to be told our booking was for 2 not 4 - on mothers day whoops. However not a issue they simply said another table hadn’t turned up and to have that one. Sorted! We then went to order but were asked very nicely if we could just wait ten mins as the kitchen was a bit overwhelmed as a chef hadn’t turned up. We did and returned to the bar to order a short while later. The staff i have to say were lovely, polite snd friendly. We waited for our food which was served promptly. Good portions, home cooked yorkies and nice meat. All in all a nice experience.
This is a nice little family friendly public house which is good for eating out def beats Wetherspoons. It's not expensive but also not cheap so quite good value for money. Just check the cutlery is proper clean because we had issues with this aswell as seeing a chef carrying food with a dirty tea towel. That was the only thing that put me off tbf
Very nice pub. Excellent customer service. Food was great. Good price. They were very accommodating too. Would return again.
Thank you the Chef Connor for the Best Hunters Chicken meal I have ever had. Nice and crispy on the top. Kind Regards
Had the surf and turf by recommendation of Owen, really enjoyed it, and the new landlords Mark and Fiona are very welcoming. Place finally turning around!
Friendly welcome, cosy interior and clearly a popular well loved local. I remember drinking here over 49 years ago so to see it still open was lovely.
