Fantastic pub. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff
Very friendly but lounge closed and no food.
Not good if you only wanting a snackFood: 3/5
Masses of parking, a colossal amount of space both indoors and out. Food is very reasonably priced and good quality. There was the added bonus of a having a singer to entertain us under the open-sided marquee - unusual at this early time of day from around 5pm. Staff are pleasant, the one-way system works well. Everywhere is clean and there are multiple hand sanitisation stations throughout. A thoroughly enjoyable early evening and well-worth a visit.
Having recently moved to the area, we wanted to check out this pub. Genuinely impressed. Food is fantastic, and well priced. The staff are always friendly and happy to chat. Locals are friendly too. We now go once a week if we can especially as its only a walk up the road!
Great food, good service, - nice staff / management team. Well worth the visit if in Hallam or walking in the area. Enjoy. Looks like a good selection of ales.
Live music, outdoor seating, great beer selection. Nestled in the heart of Bristol. A fantastic venue with free live music from 22.00 everyday. Legendary pub with a flare for blues, jazz and some of the finest musicians from far and wide
We came here for food and drink during a bike ride. The food was really good, and the beer good too. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I'd recommend this pub to anyone.
Ordered their takeaway fish and chips last night. Very impressed with the quality, presentation and service. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
The service was very friendly and there was a warm atmosphere of a proper local pub. The food was good value and quality. For real ale lovers there was Bass and Doombar on offer. I'm not keen on Doombar so didn't try it but the bass was well kept.
