First car service today, after previous below average service other dealerships I didn’t have high expectations. HOWEVER. Tom had a smile on his face from the moment I dropped my car off! 8am who smiles before coffee!? and showed me to my hire car, Tom kept me up to date, answered my stupid questions with no judgements and fitted new windscreen blades with ease! Absolutely phenomenal service, thank you ! The VW bar has been raised!
Amazing Service from all of the sales team that I dealt with at VW Milton Keynes. Buying a new car in the 'new normal' could not have been easier. All aspects of the purchase was professional & they truly did try their best to make the day special when collecting the car despite everything having to be conducted outside. I particularly enjoyed the short video they sent as a 'sneak peak' on the morning of the day of collection. Despite living a distance from the dealership I will be returning here for any aftersales reasons!
I sold my vehicle to VW Milton Keynes, Gary Cornwell followed up with me and the whole process was smooth and without issue. Gary was very clear and professional, I called in a few times and was always directed by different members of the team courteously and the information they gave was honest and accurate. I wouldn't hesitate to take any of my future business to VW Milton Keynes. Great experience for me so far.
Test drove a polo with isobel, but wasn't what i was looking for, wanted to try a golf but there wasn't time, although i was at the dealership for my car to be serviced which took 3 hours i had to then rebook for another day. Turned up on the booked day, isobel was with other customers so we dealt with Jordan, he was brilliant in his knowledge and made up for the disappointing service from Isobel who I felt didn't feel interested in dealing with me. After trying the cars I don't feel ready for an automatic which are the only options as no manual is available. A car for me is for fun and these didn't have that, more catering for a daily commuter.
I purchased a new VW Tiguan R-line back at the end of September, I dealt with Craig - the senior sales executive throughout this process and I have to say his customer service was absolutely amazing, he was extremely helpful and very professional, an absolute credit to this branch. He was very knowledgeable explaining the process to me and showing me my options, and as this was the first brand new vehicle Iv ever brought I was extremely nervous but he was brilliant. Iv left it this long to review incase I managed to find any reason over the last couple of months after having the vehicle to drop the stars, but no such luck lol. Thank you Craig @ Lancaster VW
Shocking service from these guys! We bought a so called 'approved used' from them, which apparently had the 142 point check done on it. To start with, the valeting was not done correctly and they even had the cheek to charge us for 12 months road tax on top, when they hadn't even bothered to ask if we wanted 12 months - we may have wanted to pay monthly. I should have refused to pay it, but there you go. Make sure they don't get you with this one. I picked the car up and once home, found that a CD was stuck in the radio, the DAB antenna didn't work and also the A/C did not heat or cool. All this after the thorough "142 point check". One of the very basic checks is to test if the A/C heats and cools, and this was apparently 'serviced' before we picked the car up. Needless to say, it was very hard to get them to agree for me to get this sorted at our local VW. They wanted me to drive it back to MK, an 80 mile trip, plus my time, when it was prior agreed that any issues could be sorted at the local VW garage. I had to get shirty with them for them to agree to pay for the repairs. This is not what you expect when you buy through VW. They are supposed to be top notch. Not what you expect when you are paying over £15k for a car. Conversely, VW Huntingdon have been much better to deal with and have been professional, as you would expect. They fixed the radio issues and found that the AC did not have any gas in the system - after this had apparently been serviced and checked by MK VW??? Unfortunately, these guys seem to be trading off VW's good name and very obviously failing to deliver. To say that something has been completed and charging customers top dollar for the vehicles, when it obviously hasn't even been looked at, is in my mind fraudulent. Moving on to another fault that the car developed a few weeks down the line and by this point I had had enough. I emailed Geoff and Martin King to say that I wanted to return the car under the 'no quibble' guarantee. Guess what, I have heard nothing back yet! Avoid at all costs!!!
Shocking customer service and unwilling to accept mistakes that they made. Ended up having an incredibly argumentative call with one of the managers there. Once my contract on my car has come to an end I will not be buying another VW as I don't want to have to deal with this dealership.
Regardless of which people have used VW, I've had no problems so far. I visited here for some parts and ordered them for collection. The parts are expensive and so is a service but the place and staff are nothing to complain about from my interactions with them. There are car parts you could probably find online or from a scrap yard cheaper but certain parts that could impact you life, such as brakes, are worth doing properly.
Under the circumstances, our host, Craig Newman, was the perfect ambassador for Marshall VW, with excellent efficiency and a very relaxed manner. Nothing too much trouble, even for my trivial questions.
Very friendly welcoming staff, nice coffee too! Service and sales staff, well all staff we encountered most courteous and friendly. There is another VW dealer a lot nearer to us but nowhere near as nice as those in MK.
