Bought a vauxhal corsa from this place earlier this year, i soon noticed it had a odd smell, took to my mechanic to have a look at it and he said it may be the head gasket, as it was still under warranty i took it back to these guys, they did some tests and agreed it was the head gasket, they organised for that to be repaired, whilst it was being repaired one of the staff members lent me his car as i can only drive automatics wich i was very thankful for as they went out of their way to do this for me. They fixed the gasket within a couple weeks with no charge as it was under warranty. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a second hand car as they do honour their warranty. My car is now running smoothly Thankyou all the staff that helped.

Bought a Ford C Max from G. W. Hall & son's back in April. I found them welcoming, transparent when talking about the cars and really helpful on giving advice depending what type of car I was looking for. As the car had done over 100,000 miles the Cam belt and water pump had been changed as standard, it had been MOT and serviced, advisories on the MOT had been acted on as a priotity. While the car had been valated to a good standard demonstrating that the car had been looked after. Overall I was really happy with the service and would highly recommend.

Bought a car from here recently and having it for 10 months being told from my reputable garage that it won’t pass it’s MOT in the next few months, been back to gw several times concluding to 3 months of not being able to use this car and giving me a courtesy car which then the exhaust had blown on the courtesy car! Then proceeded legally, to get told it’s ‘fair wear and tear’, when they clearly knew about all these problems. And now I’m reading previous reviews saying the same thing about botched MOTs and blaming on fair wear and tear... wish I had read these reviews before buying from here. Aside from this they were helpful, friendly and attentive people and I don’t have a bad word to say about the guys there but I just think that some more car knowledge, changing mot centres and selling cars in better condition would help their rep.
Very professional service. I would highly recommend the team, sales man was helpful, friendly and not pushy. I bought our car just over a month ago and had an issue with the engine light coming on, they got it booked in the garage within the week and fixed the issue without the usual dodging the customer and fobbing off issues that I have known so many to have with other secondhand car dealerships.
Bought a great car 6 months ago, at what I would consider a great price, nice guys to deal with as well.
Bought and payed a higher price for a 2011 1.2 polo about a year ago and the car has had multiple issues ever since, and I'm now having to buy a new car as this one is far too unreliable to continue with. However the owner and salesman were very polite and helpful at the begining, this unfortunately stopped being the case after a few weeks of having the car. Would recommend getting any car you get from here taken to a main dealer before committing.
